Excellent! The technician came out early on a Saturday morning, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed by 9:30am :-)

Arrived punctually after calling for service. Checked freon charge and determined that unit was out of freon. Stated that evaporator coil was probably leaking but did not have his leak detector with him as he had loaned it to another technician. He left to get his leak detector. After approx. 40 minutes returned and determined that the evaporator coil was leaking.
My a/c unit is 9 years old and to replace the evaporator coil would cost approx. $1k plus recharging freon R-22 at a cost of $342 + service labor costs and I decided it was not cost effective but would get a new package installed with the new coolant R-410A as it is more cost effective and environmentally friendly.
The service technician was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable on my a/c system. However when I asked him about the 10% seniors discount, he stated they could not give it on a new install and when I was given the bill there was no 10% discount given on the bill. If they are not going to honor the discount then they need to either remove it from their page or clarify what is included in the discount. While I would use them again I would be wary of recommending them to other senior citizens as they did not honor their advertised discount.

I had Air America install 2 new Trane A/C units, I had
issues with proper installation from beginning on both units. Unit 1,
install 04/20/11 for down stairs, had a freon leak and issues with sealing
on air handler. The unit was not sealed properly which resulted in a black
soot/dust to be blown out in house. I had them come out at least 4 time to
no avail, They wanted to say it was because I have dogs inside and smoke.
The freon leak result in them putting more in first time at $70.00
charge,with no repair. Then second time charged $343.00 and did repair. I
was inform the valve core they replaced should have be under warranty, as
it should not have be bad so soon after install. Second unit was installed
06/27/11,for the upstairs. Had no issues that I was aware of as it worked
better than old unit. We thought everything was correct until thermostat
stopped working on 12/01/13. I did not want to have Air America back
because of previous issues so I called a different company. Once they went
into attic to check wiring for thermostat they informed us of shoddy work
and the new unit not being installed correctly. We were only getting
approximately 30% of air flow. They took my husband up and showed him. Air
America did not put new box in for duct work, never sealed several areas.
New company had to replace all of it. It cost $1050.00 We never checked
behind Air America as we trusted them at the time. Plus being in the
attic. We had high electric bills for running unit almost none stopped
during summer months. Air America has new technicians all the time, which
obliviously are not qualified.
. I will be going to Small Claims court to recoup my money hopefully. After posting this and filing with court Mr. Taylor contacted me and stated he was not aware of all the issues and was very apologetic. He did not hesitate to refund all funds that were incurred. Mr. Taylor was very prompt in bring them to me the next morning. This says alot for him, he assured us that individuals that had done the work were no longer employed by him.

They made sure the unit was covered under warranty. They responded quickly when we called them. They were attentive with the company that had our coils. The guy was very courteous and gave us tips on saving energy which has worked for us.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company!
We have required their services a few times since we purchased our house in 2003. Most recently we had damage caused by flooding from Tropical Storm Debby. My husband called to get an estimate and they came out the same day. They completed the work a day or two later, exactly when they said they would. They were on time, professional, and completed the job within budget (i.e., there were no unwelcomed surprises). Loved that they were able to do all the work in one day while my husband and I were at work. We came home that night and were able to run the A/C for the first time in over a month.
This is the level of service we ALWAYS receive from them. Sure wish we could clone these guys! :-)

He was prompt, but I would never use them again.
