I called Alex Brito for a repair estimate. He showed up within a reasonable time and checked the job. He returned and did the work. I did not receive an advance repair estimate because he first had to disassemble the shutter to see if it could be repaired. The repair was done and I thought the cost was quite reasonable. He could have, but did not, charge an exaggerated price with the shutter disassembled. That's way I like to deal the companies on Angies List.

He was timely, professional, and flexible on his pricing. After reviewing 4 other vendor quotes, Alex was 20% cheaper than all other vendors. He returned all calls on a timely basis and performed all work to expectation. Originally his quote of a 2 day install had to be changed due to weather, permits, and other issues. As we were in no rush, this was not a problem for us. He offered a wide variety of colors and was able to perfectly match our home color. Once all work was completed, Alex came out and personally trained my wife and I on the care, maintenance, and usage of these lock-based shutters.

Alex is great! Hurricane shutter companies have a shady reputation so I wanted to be sure that I was dealing with a reputable person and Alex lived up to my expectations. Everything went great and Alex was more than helpful when I came to permitting this project. He even checked and serviced the existing shutters (which he did not install). His price was very competitive and when we ended up changing one of our sliding doors to a French door, he came back to take the shutter off and then re-installed it with a new handle/lock! How great is that?!! If I needed more shutters, Alex would get the job and I would HIGHLY recommend him to everyone.

Alex was great! We had absolutely NO problems at all. He hand-delivered the signed permit so I could submit it to the insurance company. The world of hurricane shutters is not known for its honesty and integrity but Tropical Storm Shutters and Alex buck that trend! I would highly recommend this company.

They were on-time, did good work, and did it quietly. They cleaned up their mess. The price was also really good.

The experience was incredibly positive. First, the work is fantastic - the shutters look great and operate beautifully. Hopefully we will never have to use them. Second - the work was performed in the time frame that was established from the onset. Third, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Alex Britto, the company owner. He responded to all questions and concerns immediately and constantly checked on the status of the work. The two men who did the work were meticulous and very nice. We only have wonderful things to say about this experience. You will not go wrong working with ABS-C, Inc. For clarification, the company name has changed. It was originally Tropical Storm Shutters and we found this company through Angie's List.

I would very highly recommend this company (Alex) to anyone needing shutters! He responded promptly to my call for an estimate and came on time; he did all the paperwork needed for the permits and the home owners association; he was reliable; responded to phone calls; kept me posted with his progress; and completed the job in approximately 8 weeks inspite of a structural glitch not his fault but which he resolved completely and satisfactorily. Upon completion he had all the paperwork I needed for my insurance company (a copy for them and for me!)

So far, great the shutters were ready in three weeks and they installed everything in one afternoon. They just need to come back and put the tracks in place for the door panels. I liked the way Alex Brito took time to go over things with me and suggested a solution for the doors.
