I had a very bad experience in dealing with Angie at Marien Insurance, it involved getting a wind mitigation credit for hurricane shutters that I installed. It took me over 6 months to get Angie to submit my wind mitigation inspection and follow-up with citizens to finally get my reimbursement, but by the time Angie finally took care of it, Citizens was not willing to retroactively credit me for the time elapsed from initial submittal to final approval. This was a very frustrating process and Angie was extremely unprofessional and absolutely did not care.
After raising the issue with Angie's boss, Maria Isaba, Citizens was contacted, and Maria was able to get me my full reimbursement.
So, it took way too much effort on my part to get this resolved, but once the right person at Marien Insurance was contacted, the issue was dealt with swiftly, correctly, and in a professional manner.
