First the good. Rene came on 04/12/2017 to give me a quotation to repair a Microwave which I have accepted. He came on 04/24/2017 to do the repair after the parts arrived. Rene told me he will come and install a cover plate which he has not with him. I told him that he can mail it to me since it would be very easy for me to install. I was satisfied with the work that Rene performed up to that point. Now the not so good. I have called twice afterwards to find out when I will receive the cover plate. On 05/23 I called again and I was told they could not get hold of me, because the cover plate arrived but it cost $51.36. (No voicemail was left though...). So the original estimate for $1010.70 some reason now does not include all the parts? I have received the cover plate after I have agreed to paid for it, but I am not satisfied about additional cost as well as the time (more than a month) it took to fully repair the unit.

Only a few companies repair Viking refrigerators and I've used another in the past but wasn't happy with the attitude. I found LeGrand on Angie's list and they were very nice and courteous on the phone. Although they didn't have an appointment available for a week, they showed up as scheduled. They charged a minimum for the service call and determined that they needed to order a part. When it came in they scheduled the follow up appointment. Unfortunately when they installed the part they determined that it also needed a new motor. I was not charged for the interim visit and paid when they returned to install the new motor.

I have tried to get my icemaker repaired for the longest, and every company that I reached out to told me that I would have to buy a new machine. I loved the level of customer service that Juan gave me and his level of communication. He saved me approximately 60%. He accutally brought the icemaker back to my home and installed it. He also provided me with information on repairs for a stove and a wine cooler. I truly appreciate the above and beyond customer service that he has provided!!!

I have used Le Grande time and time again. They have fixed my Viking stove, and my microwave oven, too. They charge such reasonable fees and if no parts need to be replaced, you can make out really well with them. I like the people they send out and I would highly recommend them to my fellow AL members.

When he was finished fixing the burner that I provided, he said there was a $60 service fee. This amount was for showing up. No one ever told me about this charge, I think that was a rip off. We didn't even have a confirmed appt. He called me and said he was done with another job, so we met at the house. I gave the part, and he fixed it. It was getting late and I didn't want to argue too much. My friend told me I shouldn't have paid him. I could have gotten a new stove for less t han $30 more.

"The member should have called and informed us that the stove started beeping. The technician replaced the burner customer had. Nothing else was touched. Our labor is 30 days. She will be charged again if the tech goes back to her home. We are very honest with a good reputation, and our tech's don't rip off customers. She did have a confirmed appointment. THEY CAME OUT ON TIME AND GOT THE JOB DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TRY. I WAS VERY SATISFIED, BUT I WILL ONLY HAVE THE STORE I BOUGHT IT FROM FIX APPLIANCES, SO I DON'T KNOW IF I'LL USE THEM AGAIN. THE IDEA IS TO MAKE THINGS THAT DON'T BREAK.
