They were honest enough to say that there was not significant termite activity.
As far as the future use of this service I would hope that the company would be alot more concerned with the issues I brought up to them on above occassions.I find it necessary to keep up the warrantee to protect my house but don't want the ongoing fight to get the job done right within a reasonable time after evidence of termites present.
"In response to the above customer complaint, I will like to express my great surprise to [Member] filing a complaint about our Company since we always had a great business relationship. [The Member] started service with our Company on 3/19/2004 at which time we tented his property and his initial service was $955.00 payment received on 6/2/2004 his renewal fee was $165.00 a year for 3 years as stipulated in the contract, his renewal fee was never increased until 2012 due to the high cost of living index which is also stipulated in the contract that after 3 years we can increase said fee. Renewal fee covers tenting in the event that live infestation is found in the property. At that time we tent at no extra charge to the customer. [The Member] called our office on 10/4/05 complaining that he was seeing termite dropping in the front porch we scheduled for an inspector to go out and performed and inspection at which time no live infestation was found, but we treated the beams at the time for termite prevention, on 5/15/06 [the member] called again complaining of seeing droppings again we send out an inspector to his property and found old termite droppings no live infestation found at the time, on 12.22.08 we treated other beams in the property for termite prevention sine there was no live infestations found and customer kept complaining. [The Member] called again on 6/10/10 inspector was scheduled to go to the property again and at that time inspector found (2) Formosan termites which is not covered under his Drywood termite warranty customer was informed of this, on 1/17/13 customer called complaining of droppings in the back rooms of the house at which at that point we suggested to tent the property not because he had live infestation but because he had called in several occasions and we had treated his property and customer was not pleased with spot treatment. Tenting date was scheduled for his property in several occasions but he kept postponing dates since he did not want to tent his property on raining season, finally he agreed to tent on 7/10/13 and was pleased with service. [The Member] complaints were never ignored, we always send out our inspectors when he requested service, we tented his property even when there was no live infestations as stipulated in his agreement, and that is why it was such a surprise to find out about him filing a complaint with our Company, even more we accepted his renewal termite fee on 7/23/12 when it was due on 3/17/12 our policy reads guarantee lapse if renewal payment is not received by due date. If he were to be a new customer his tent would have cost him today $1,750.00 and we re-tented his property on 7/10/13 at no extra cost for to him, [the Member] paid 6 years at $165.00 plus 2 additional years at $187.00 total amount paid by customer till today is $1,364.00 at this point we lost money on this deal. We will not reimburse customer for his renewal fee at this time. Should you need further information or documentation please feel free to contact our office."
