HIALEAH LAWN MOWER & SMALL ENGINE

I dropped off the Lawn mower with Felix at the shop on a Saturday 02/16/08. Checking in the machine was very quick and efficient. I gave a brief explanation of the problems, the machine was tagged, and I was given a claim tag number. On Tuesday 02/19/08 I got a call from Felix to tell me that the Lawn mower was ready to be picked up. I went to the shop during my lunch break. When I got there the checkout process was quick and efficient. I used my credit card to pay for the charges which was convenient. Felix turned on the lawn mower to make sure it was in running good, and then helped me load it on my car.

Customer service is alive and well. Called first, everything I was told was correct. They open early - 6am, Felix was very helpful, did a good job, called when it was complete (within 2 days just as he said) and it runs much better. Mower was sluggish, needed a new pull cord and all around check up. They helped me lift the mower in and out of my truck as I couldn't manage it. I highly recommend them.

Our lawn mover developed a strong vibration and then would not start the next time it was used. My husband felt that it was probably not worth repairing and was going to buy a new machine. Having read the previous report on Angie's List, I took the machine to Hialeah Lawn Mower & Small Engine where I met Felix who was extremely helpful. He said he would call us before he did any work to let us know if it was worth fixing and how much it would be. The next day he called to say the machine could be repaired for $49 and that he would have it completed in 3 hours, which he did. My husband picked up the machine and was also very impressed with Felix. The lawn mower is running well (and does a much better job with the new blade). Happy customers!

HLM was kind of a last resort effort to fix the mower since everyone said it couldn't be fixed and I should get rid of it. Well it's nine months later and it still works fine.
