The sales person was very responsive and inspired confidence. Their references they gave were all very good. They started the job on February 27th and told me it would take 1 week. As of today April 6 the windows are not complete. 2 sets of doors installed were the wrong doors. They seem to have a shortage on installers. I have a large home and they assigned only 2 people to the job. The installers showed up each day around 11:00 and most days left by 3:00. Some days they did not show up at all or showed up only to get a call from the company to leave and go on another job. From what I could tell it was not a problem with the installer but the company kept moving him to other jobs - which is why I think they don't have enough installers. So for 5 weeks I had no curtains, alarm, my home was covered in dust and I could not do anything about it because they were not done and the installers could only come a few hours a day. Then they refused to offer any discount and attempted to get paid before the final inspection was even issued. Overall this 1 week project turned into a 6 week nightmare. If they would have just sent a large enough crew and they would have worked 8 hours a day it would have gone well.
When the job was "done" the covers of the frames were all loose so that when you touched them they moved due to not being sealed properly. The windows were left filthy and I had dirty hand prints sealed in caulking all around the windows. They came back to fix these things promising to come at 10:30 and arrived at 3:30 and worked until dark.
The final product I am left with is very dirty windows that have a chaulky film on them. I was told they do not leave the windows clean and that I needed to put pure alcohol on them to get that off. We have done that 2 times and the windows still have something on them. In addition my marble floors have the same thing on them because they did not cover them as they worked. Some of the frames are scratched so that instead of having nice new windows 2 already have dents and scratches and they are filthy. Scraps of metal were left in my garden fountain and cigarette buts on my window sills.
Overall I can not recommend this company. For $30K it would have be nice to be left with a clean, new looking product and not a mess. I believe they are overextended and have sold more jobs than they can financially float which is having a huge impact on their quality and timeliness. I requested for the owner to call me multiple times during the process and until I still have not hear from him.
