First the positive. The sales representative came out to our hose as scheduled, explaining everything in detail, including what pipes needed to be changed, etc. The work was scheduled immediately as our current water heater died and was leaking in the garage. The work was scheduled for Friday June 15th. The crew arrived at 12:15 PM and left at 3:20 PM. The entire time they were here, there was a constant complaint about doing such a large job on a Friday. A back and forth on how could they be scheduled to do work so "late" on a Friday and now they wont be able to cash their checks. The salesman advised that the natural feed into the new tankless system was to be 3/4 inches. The installers were leaving the feed at 1/2 inch. When I advised them of this, they reassured me that this was ok. I had to call the sales person who came out to provide the quote and he had to call the crew. This did not sit too well with the crew and the complaining continued until they left out the door at 3:20 PM. The unit itself is working as it should which I had no doubt as it is a Noritz. The overall work itself "seems" to be ok but time will tell. I called into their main office this morning to advise that I was charged for 5 hours of labor and the crew was here only 3 to which the reply was that this accounts for travel time to and from the previous job. I have never heard that approach in my life. Labor is usually charged for onsite work and not travel time. The Noritz unit seems to be doing what it should be but I have been left with a very unprofessional experience by this company.
