Contracted for 2 Coats Sherwin Williams Resilience (recommended and signed by Dario). Noticed several cans of the cheapest paint, A-100, outside the first night, and asked Arasay (office contact) to confirm if they were using Resilience. She told me to talk to Dario the next day, and he confirmed he was using Resilience but just used different buckets. He offered to give me the receipt, and I said great - because I would need it for the lifetime warranty. When they finished, I asked for the final invoice and receipt and got no response for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks they send me a picture of part of a receipt, showing 15 gallons of Resilience, with no date, and no proof of payment. They specifically said they could not provide the whole receipt for privacy reasons. I went to Sherwin Williams because I wanted to make sure the receipt was okay for the warranty. Sherwin Williams said what I had was not a receipt, it was an estimate that Dario had requested the day before. They were very confused because there was no order number or anything. Then they were able to look up my actual receipt with my name and address. They printed it and gave it to me - for 15 gallons of the cheap A-100 paint. I asked for them to please repaint with the Resilience, which has a lifetime warranty, and they agreed, but then they go AWOL. Listen, these people lied to my face to save a few hundred $ on their side. They were not the lowest quote. I went with them because he was super nice, energetic, knew what he was talking about, and offered to use a great paint with a lifetime warranty from Sherwin Williams. Unfortunately, it is a lie. Do you know what else this guy did? He left behind a 5-gallon bucket with the Resilience label, so it looks like they are using the Resilience. However, the lid - when you look up close says Shoji White A-100. So not only did he lie about the paint, and go out of his way to create a fake receipt for my warranty purposes, he left behind the bucket with the bait switch. What a scam. I mean, come on, Really? He showed up on time, workers were dedicated and friendly. For a few hundred bucks he will lie to your face, smiling the whole time, and then ignore you when you want accountability. Completely dishonest and really ought to lose his license for the dishonesty. It is not about whether the A-100 is a good enough paint, it is about contracting for better quality paint, followed by lies, deceit, dishonesty, and going back on his word to repaint, or even call me back.
