I had my windows and front door replaced by them and I am so pleased with the nice clean job done by them that I don't have sufficient words to recommend them. The installers were on time and made sure to have all the furniture covered to keep all dust away. Manuel the foreman is exceptionally knowledgeable in this type of work and very professional. I recently had the pleasure of working with Sergio @ Calleja's for the installation of impact windows in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I was highly concerned about dust management, and they exceeded my expectations. They covered everything, and also blocked off the inside windows to minimize circulation. They also cleaned as they went with cutting/demo. The end result is not only aesthetically pleasing but also provides me with a sense of security and peace of mind. Even after the installation was complete, Sergio stayed in contact to ensure all guidelines were completed for the Grant program, and personally went to the city to close out the permit. It was a great experience dealing with Calleja Shutters. They were in constant communication from the initial quotation to the completion for the installation. Once the installation was completed, they scheduled for the final inspection from the city and everything was completed on time according to schedule. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a great team to get their hurricane shutters installed.

Very professional

Our project was aluminum accordion shutters on seven openings: two sliding glass doors and five windows, on a two-story condo in unincorporated Miami-Dade County in the Doral-Sweetwater area. We dealt with Sergio Calleja throughout the project, he was young but seemed to have comprehensive knowledge about all the details involved in the project, and he communicated very well with me in English, both verbal and written. The price was about $600 less than another bid that we got for the job. The contract called for a deposit of 30%, the other bid called for a 50% deposit. The entire project, from the date of signing the contract on 3-23-20 to completion and final payment on 5-13-20 (including building permit issuance, condo association approval, and approved final inspection by the building department) took 52 days, which seemed very reasonable to me, especially considering that the COVID-19 pandemic was occurring. The installation work itself only took part of one day. I was working at home then, and the noise was not too bad. Prior to the installation of the shutters, a very minor delay was caused by a technical problem that they promptly corrected regarding a certificate of insurance document needed for the condo association approval. At the end of the project, Sergio seemed unfamiliar with giving a release of lien in exchange for final payment, however I had no problem getting them to sign one that I made. Overall, my experience with this company was excellent, everything went very smoothly, so I'm giving them 5's across the board. I also recommended them to a co-worker.

The whole team worked great. They did an excellent job. The price was fair and reasonable. The communication was very nice and they kept us updated all the time. I will recommend them.

Sergio was great. He came quickly to give the estimate. The price was fair and I feel good about it. I did get two other costs and Calleja s was right got me. The lead time was a little longer than original but I was kept updated via phone or text. When the installation date was set, the guys were there right on the dot and wasted no time putting up the shutters. It was a good experience and I have recommended them to my daughter.

The sales consultant was professional and kind. My issue was on the products difficulty in shutting. It is very hard to close when compared to other shutters I purchased from another vendor. It should not take 5 minutes or more to close a shutter, especially if it s raining and you have to struggle with it because it won t close. I did call about it, but was instructed to jiggle it, line it up, play with etc. The product has no handle to grip it easily so it s highly frustrating.
