"Glenn from Cyr Welding went above and beyond fixing my stairs! He offered various solutions to fix my metal stairs. I appreciated an honest welder who tried the cheapest route for me first before having to succumb to a more expensive route. He was also happy to help with additional non stair related projects I needed help. Also he is a pleasant guy to be around and explained every step of the way and make sure I was esthetically ok with it. Thank you so much for all of your extensive work with me on a holiday weekend!"

"Our work with Le birch development & construction was exceptional. We had a kitchen from the late 1970 including soffits, antiquated press board cabinets and insufficient lighting. We wanted to create a more open space and increase the storage at the same time. It was hard to imagine what such a large change could look like but the team worked with us to visualize the new space, consider options for coordinating cabinets, counter, flooring and more. The end result was a complete transformation we are thrilled with every day. We highly recommend working with Lindross Remodeling."

"Raúl was very friendly and worked with me since the job I had wasn't too big. I needed someone to weld the birdcage feeder door back together. He even came back another day to finish the job. He was great! If I need anything else welded he will be the person we call."

Welding questions, answered by experts

There are a few things you can ask welders before you hire them to get an idea of their experience and ability levels:

  • Are you licensed and certified?

  • How long have you been in the welding business?

  • Do you commonly do the type of welding I need?

  • Do you offer any kind of warranty for your work?

  • Do you charge by the hour or by the project?

  • How long do you expect my welding project to take?

  • What steps do you take to minimize errors in your work?

Costs depend on unit complexity, labor, wall mounting needs, and additional accessories like floating shelves.

Yes, you can cut up a box spring., but you’ll need to do so in layers. You can clear the fabric and fluff away to reveal the springs before removing them as well.

Yes, you can use a saw to cut metal pipes. The best saw to use is a reciprocating saw, but even a fine-tooth hacksaw can get the job done. No matter which saw you use to cut metal pipes, wear protective gear, like work gloves, safety goggles, and ear plugs. Apply a firm, steady pressure to the tool, and always ensure the pipes are secured so they don't move while you make the cuts.

Yes, you can cut plexiglass by hand using a sharp knife or blade (utility knife, box cutter, glass cutter, etc.).
