TRI COUNTY OVERHEAD DOORS

In 2022 I had them install a new Genie garage door opener. It worked great for a few months then worked for a week then quit, it would only open with a remote. I struggled with this for a year and Genie corporation had me do things to try to fix the problems. I didn't want to pay another $90 for Tri-County to come back. Finally Genie sent me a new head. That meant I had to pay their $90 again!!! I called them, set an appointment, explained the problem. FYI: The guy is nice but, he DIDN'T REPLACE THE WIRING. This second visit, he unscrewed the door controller and pulled wires out of the wall; he never did this the 1st install. There was two bare wires that were barely touching each other, shortening out the dang thing. Because he never checked the wiring, it was his fault for not doing that and my system was not working properly for a few years. I'm a disabled Vietnam vet, not allowed to climb ladders so I had no way to do this. They refuse to give me a refund since the installer didn't do his job

They showed up on time, they went to work like a fine tuned machine. They both new exactally what they were doing and the end results was perfection. I am very happy.

Our appointment was between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m. The technician called about 11:00 saying he would be a little late. About 11:30 he called again saying the he would be here about noon. He did arrive about 12:15. My husband detailed the problem with the door and he fixed it with the paraffin. He also adjusted the spring, greased the lifting screw and adjusted the "clips" on each section of the door so that they were aligned properly. He explained everything he was doing. He was very knowledgeable about our door and overhead garage doors in general. We did appreciate the calls saying he would be late, but it did impact our schedule.
