Once the work began, everything went extremely well. Very pleasant crew, very careful with landscape and property, very clean. Job took longer than originally forecast to get on the schedule and to complete once started, however the pleasantness of everyone I dealt with all along compensated to a great extent and I would be inclined to use again all things being equal.

Great! The roof looks great. My electric bill dropped $60. June was hot too. They cleaned up after. They did things that I didn't expect like trimmimg branches back that were touching the roof. They painted all the vents the color of the sheet metal. He was prompt in getting the bid to me via email.

He was the lowest price bid and did excellent work.  He even through in a couple of extra items for free after he bid the job.

Roof has developed leaks and numerous air pockets within past year. Repeated contacts by voice mail and email requesting help have gone unanswered.

They arrived on time and did the repairs needed on the roof. Melvin was very professional and answered all my questions and I would highly recommend Holt Roofing.

He did a really good job. I haven't been there, I was actually able to do the contract over the phone and by email and stuff. I had him replace the roof on my mother's house. He gave me a good price and he did it in one day, everything in one day. A crew of like 15 people and they just went to town on it. It was a good price. They cleaned it up, they stripped it, they took away the old stuff, they replaced all the wood panels, the substructure as necessary and they cleaned up real nice afterwards, didn't leave anything.

We purchased a home that needed a new roof and many pieces of plywood replaced. They came out and did the estimate without me having to be there. Melvin sent me a quote which was about $1000 less than the next lowest offer. He was clear up front that there may be additional charges if plywood needed replaced which did happen. He communicated with me about permits, colors and schedule easily prior to the job. We got a leak just before the job was to be completed. Someone came out on a Saturday to tarp it. They arrived a few days later and completed the job in one day. The roof looks great!

It took 3 days (rainy season, of course). I was so pleased not to get a migraine. The workers were professional. My brother had lots of question that were answered before the work was started. Thank you Holt Roofing.

The bidding and contract signing went well but it was about 4 weeks before re-roofing started which was longer than specified. The job was very well done and was completed quickly once started.

We chose Holt based on good reviews from friends and here on Angie's List.
We got our estimate from Mr. Holt very quickly, but then things slowed down after that. We had a little trouble scheduling a start date. I know he is very busy (because he is good) and we were in more of a hurry than we should have been, due to a leaky roof and impending hurricane season. So, I did have to make a couple of calls to him just to follow up on the status of things. But, after I left a message, he would return the call pretty quickly. He was willing to answer all of our questions.
Once we set the start date, everything went smoothly. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, finished the job in less than 2 days and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. The final price was within $100 of the estimate, because of some wood damage under the shingles.
We're very pleased with the results and would call him again, but really hope we won't have to!

Randall Holt expected to have a helper on roofing job and would be done in 3-4 hours. His helper never showed up, which might be a reason to cancel--nope! Randall showed up, worked alone for almost seven hours on a Saturday, and the project cost exactly what he said it would. He was great, and I would unreservedly recommend his company!

Great job, completely as expected. Good price. No BS.
