Contractor had 17 days to complete the work. I had moved all clothing, furniture, wall plates, wall hangings and most fixtures prior to starting. Approximately, eight weekdays later while on vacation he informed us the work was complete. Upon arrival home we found the French doors unlocked and open, insufficient paint on the walls throughout (white paint showing through gray), incomplete painting (no paint at all on some woodwork and wall, incomplete woodwork painting on the door casings, failure to paint the back of the closet doors as he had told us would be done, piles of dirt in the master bath which had been vacuumed and cleaned prior to us leaving, leaves and plant material on the carpets in three bedrooms. He came back a couple of days after we contacted him to correct the problems expecting he could complete in one day what he couldn't in 17. After his one day repair visit we continue to find additional areas unsatisfactorily painted, missing paint, sloppy painting, paint on the hardwood floors, fixtures and no paint on the bottom side of the wainscote and woodwork under the countertop. Now the owner has stated: "I am doing everything to jump through your hoops to satisfy you. I understand you are upset but at the same time I Am Making The Effort to correct things so if you find it necessary to nit pick every bump on your walls write it down because I will only come back 1 last time and will expect payment in full when finished!" He has already been paid $3,500.00 deposit for services and done an absolutely terrible job. I would not recommend him to anyone. Attached pictures only represent a small portion of the problems encountered. one bathroom required complete repaint, foyer required repaint, many other wall were touched up but I had requested complete repaint which he declined to do.

I am a perfectionist when it comes to painting (I'd painted most of our house) and was reluctant to turn this project over to anyone. My wife, however, wanted the work done and I didn't have the time to do it. Upon a referral from a friend, I took a chance and contacted DeWayne at New Life. I have to say they exceeded my expectations and did a fabulous job without leaving even one "run" or drip behind. I would say the work was done as perfectly as is possible and DeWayne and his associates created no "collateral damage" in the process. Subsequent to my positive experience with the interior painting job, I contact DeWayne about his home washing services and again they did a great job without killing plants the way the last fellow did several years back. I have some odds and ends that I want to have done, and New Life will be doing them for me in the near future. I highly recommend DeWayne Tutton and New Life Painting and Pressure Washing.
