JOHNSON'S TREE SVC

Before starting the work, I asked to see a license and proof of Insurance. Mr. R.W. Johnson showed me a copy of a receipt from the City of Tallahassee for his license, but said his wife had the insurance card and he'd bring it when they started work. They never showed me the insurance card, and seemed very haphazard about what they were doing. I never expected them to drop 100 foot tall pine trees to the ground in single pieces, and into my neighbor's yard. At one point, my husband and a friend heard them yelling, and ran outside to find that a tree was leaning in the direction of our house. They both grabbed ropes to help the one guy who was pulling. I think our house would have been destroyed if they hadn't done that. When they did not return to finish the job, we called numerous times, but his mailbox was full. When we did get him, he would say, we'll be there tomorrow. They never came back. My husband and I had to remove the limbs from both yards, pick up the debris and use a chainsaw to cut it into smaller pieces. We still have 4 large stumps in the ground to deal with. R.W. Johnson lied to us, and his work is dangerous. DO NOT trust this man, DO NOT be lured by a good price.
