Jesse was recommended to me by a friend after I failed to coax a few of Angie's A-rated handymen to call me back. I didn't want to go too far down the list because I'd had bad experiences before. Jesse came to my house the afternoon after the morning I called him, and inspected my damage. He called me early that evening and said it would cost $600 to repair unless there was roof damage. (It turned out, there wasn't). It's been my experience that when someone offers to do a job like that for less money, the results are going to be ugly, and they probably won't get all of the rotten wood. He was able to send a crew out to do the work the very next day. I had to go somewhere for a few hours, and when I came back they were finishing in the heat, and then the rain. But they got it done, and I don't have this hanging over my head any more. Judging from the reviews I've read on Angie's list. Handymen not calling customers back or answering email has kind of gotten to be a thing. Maybe it's because of last year's hurricane. But that certainly wasn't the case with Jesse.
