+ 5 moreStarted off diligently then did not show up for a week. started cutting corners on material and quality of workmanship. If I did not supervise his activity he did not do it correctly. Four months of h***. Made a mess every where in my house Promised he would be clean and neat. Told us he was insured for damages, said he would make good on the repairs, he did not. He admitted owing me the money but is not forthcoming in holding up his word. He was paid by the insurance compny for all the materials that I paid for , and he kept the money His name is Moti(Mordachai) Max and he works under the licensing of Ramcon Corp. He is a liar and thief.
Description of Work: I had a plumbing failure in the concrete pad of my home on June 28th , 2010 , We hired a contractor that we had dealt with successfully to install new windows in our home. The Insurance company was United Property and Casualty. WE could not live in our home for 4 months because of plumbing and mold remediation procedures. The insurance company was slow in releasing fund and because I trusted this man I advanced money to him in the total amount (approx) of $ 5000.00's. I paid for the tile fothe shower, laminate tile for dining room, front hall and laundry, paint,underlayment for laminate wood flooring,5 rooms, wood molding for all rooms, repair to poorly installed tile and electric and plumbing repairs. Then, his workers damaged my dining room table ,gouged a wood dresser top, broke lamp shades, spattered paint on new bath vanity, ripped veneer off vanity and credenza, broke a cocktail table tracked tar throughout the house from exposed floorrin gi diningroom, killeed my lawn with a pile of construction dabrie. He never ordered a dumpster to contain the demolition material9which was considerable,(and removed my garbage cans and never returned them) His workers broke glass picture frames and dresser tops. They id not restore the closets to the original conditon, but he promised to install a closet system,did not do this. Tore upholstered chair on both sides.
