Best Moving Service

Overall it went horrible. From the time they showed up to pack our house they doubled the price the day of the move. They would not start until that was resolved. It took approx. 3 hours of them just sitting around. Then they did not bring a big enough truck so they had to come back the next day. We were supposed to be out of the house by 10 am and they did not finish till almost 5 pm. once we closed on our house in Florida on 9/18 it took them just over two weeks to get our stuff to us. Once they arrived we noticed that they subbed out our move to another company. Once they started unloading our things we quickly realized there was a lot of damage to items. A 75inch tv was broken, a sleep number bed, an adjustable base bed , custom Adirondack chairs and tables, a patio fire table, many dishes and glasses . On top of that hardware was missing for the new company to re-assemble the furniture. Some of the parts to re-assemble the beds and tables are not available so the entire pieces have to be replaced. The movers spoke with the supervisors at Best Moving Svc and made them aware and I sent numerous pictures. I have reached out many times to the Moving company and now they block my calls.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. First off they said they would come January 2-3rd and we needed to be available both days. We did not hear from them and after calling multiple times they told us they had to cancel our pickup the day of. Then the receptionist Dominique was extremely rude and did not care that this put us at an inconvenience. We were moving out of state and that was the last day we could stay in our apartment. Almost missed our flights. In stead of trying to find a solution she kept threatening to cancel, when the movers finally got there it was a different company (I would suggest to book directly through van lines) when our stuff finally got here over a week later 2 boxes were damaged (another company named Alfa) they charged a long distance fee bc they had to walk from the Elevator to our door that is literally the second door in the hallway . I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
