went very well on time with a courtesy call before showing up explained everything in detail of what was being inspected and cost of cleaning if required and even a few tips on how to better maintain ourselves not pushy with anything that they thought et system might need very informative all around great experience

.Prior to getting dehumidifiers installed, we had a blower door test which revealed a very "tight" home and efficient A/C unit contributing to high indoor humidity levels. Nathan and Sam suggested one large dehue unit attached to our upstairs A/C unit or two smaller whole house dehus connected to our upstairs and downstairs A/C units. We were concerned about noise level and Nathan and Sam brought a large unit to the house for us to hear and then decide.ed promptly and to our satisfaction. The unit is very quiet except for a low hum. At that point, we decided to move forward. Nathan and Sam returned with a team at the appointed time and completed the task in 1/2 a day despite some "fit" issues within one of our A/C cabinets. What impresses us is ALL of the employees are punctual, courteous, upbeat and clean up after themselves.
Final result: Within one day of the whole house dehus being installed, the humidity levels registered 10 degrees lower and we could feel a real difference.

They came out to the house ahead of time to give us a quote. Given that I'm pretty sure the air ducts had not been cleaned in over 20 years and the previous owners had pets, the quote was what I expected. They came back and performed the service quickly and professionally. We had some debris on the vents that I thought was dust but they pointed out it was actually soot from excessive candle burning and gave us some great tips on how to prevent that build up in the future. They must have done a great job because we noticed a huge difference in the efficacy of our heating system from before they cleaned and afterwards. It was night and day. Now it actually gets too hot in the house! Very glad we got this done.

My Dryer was overheating and I was worried about the house catching fire.
I bought a kit from a local store and cleaned as much of the dryer vent as I could but it was not enough to reach the roof area/vent. To play it safe I called this company after reading the good reviews. David was here within 45 mins and got the job done. He went above and beyond and explained everything to me about the whole process. He pointed out another problem with a pipe in my laundry room wall that I had not noticed and showed me how to correct it myself. David found that my dryers heating element had begun to burn out and that was also causing the problem.I have total peace of mind knowing that my vent has been cleaned out and the issue with the dryer has been found. I highly recommend this company to anyone and to not just rely on using the vent dryer kits to "to it yourself". House fires don't just cost money they cost lives, so why take a chance!

My dryer recently quit drying. The manufacturer suggested that the vent was clogged up. So I took my household vacuum and cleaned out all the parts I could reach from the laundry room and from the exterior of the house. The dryer still didn't work.
I called Gulf Coast Air Care. A team of two came out the following morning, spent about an hour and a half here, and got a whole bunch of lint out of the vent. The dryer works now.
The whole experience was remarkably pleasant. The technicians were prompt, articulate, patient, and careful, and they got the job done.
One of the technicians, Dave, took the time to explain where the dryer vent went through the walls, what materials it was made out of, and how and where it got clogged up. He told me the signs to look for to tell if the vent is clogged in the future. He had good advice about the possibility of increasing the size of the PVC pipes the vent air has to travel through. He was patient and helpful. He was even happy to answer unrelated questions about HVAC vent cleaning and energy audits, two jobs we might well hire them to do in the near future.

They were able to schedule an appointment within a week. They were on time and professional. I was pleased that they offered me an estimate on the phone and that was exactly what I paid. I am pleased with the work and they did a good job cleaning up after. When he put the vents back on they looked like they were new. He repainted some rusty ones and they looked great.

Gulf Coast Air Care responded immediately (on a Friday afternoon!) with an onsite estimate and an appointment for the work was made for the following Monday. Impressive. And expensive! Thank goodness we noticed they give Angie's List members a 15% discount! That helped. The crew was prompt, polite, professional and a pleasure to work with during the hours of service. Be warned though, this is a long noisy process and involves a truck full of equipment and a crew full of people coming in and out of your house and garage. Be prepared. They take all the vent covers off and plug the holes and use something like a giant vacuum cleaner to clean the duct work. They take the plenum covers off the units and clean and treat surfaces with antimicrobial acrylic. It is a lot of work! They were great at everything except my husband had to remind them to vacuum up the area before one filter was put back in place, and they left some trash and debris in the other unit's closet. Not a big deal, but that's why we didn't give A's across the board. Will definitely use again!
