Overall great. Left around 100 nails in the yard but when they finished it was dark. Called Fields and they immediately dispatched a crew to find any remaining nails in the yard. Will definitely use Fields again.

I was not impressed with the quality of the roof. Also, gutters were left damaged, nails and bricks dropped and left in pool. The most upsetting was the "up charge/change order”. Roofer gave a contract price then once a large amount of decking had been removed and the attic space and insulation were exposed to the exterior environment, said there would be additional cost. Upon agreeing to do what he could to “lower” the cost he quoted of around a 25% upcharge that day, he completed the roof and the following day submitted the final “upcharge/change order” for even more money! Ended up with a 37% increase in cost. Roofer was unwilling to negotiate and come to find out is using the license of someone who’s address is listed in Texas on both the DBPR and County licensing websites. Roofer refused to provide the license holder information for meeting to discuss the absorbent change order. He stated this was his business and all business matters would be handled with him.

Great people to deal with. Prompt response for estimate. Gave the best price compared to others I received estimates from. Got right on the job. Got my old roof up to specs, complying with new guidelines. Needed a small repair, thus only a small increase over estimated price, (did not know extent of repair/update until they got on the job. Very fair.). Honest, knowledgeable, hard working crew, very thorough. A professional outfit overall.

Mike is very anal about his work which slowed him down some.  He is very good at metal roofing.

Scheduling was delayed by bad weather. When the weather permitted, a two man crew arrived and I showed them the new fans and explained about the built-in thermostat/humidsat attached to the top mounted solar panel. The fans were on my back porch and as soon as we moved them in the sunlight, the motors started running! And absloutely no noise.
Prior to securing the fans to the roof, the thermosta/humidstat had to be lowered below each fan for proper operation. After the roof was patched the crew cleaned up the area and left.
This was the second time I've used Fields and have been well pleased with the cost and quality of their work.

Chris was very professional.  Workers came out about two weeks later to finish the project in one day (hottest day of the year).  I have had one rain since then and there don't seem to be any issues.  The only thing that was a little surprising was that I had to take some paperwork down to the county building to confirm the permit (had to get it notarized which costed an additional $10).  Their price was excellent and I would use them again.

This took about 3 days to do and they did a good job.

This provider responded promptly to our request for roofing information and was on time for the first appointment during which he inspected and photographed the existing shingle roof and provided samples from 3 shingle manufacturers. He then submitted a detailed and professional proposal for a new roof describing the roofing process and including photographs and diagrams of problems with our existing roof.  Upon our acceptance of the proposal, the roofing crew arrived as scheduled, removed the old roof, made needed repairs, and installed the ice and water shield  followed by new shingles.  During this well-defined process, every worker seem to know his part and executed it professionally.  When done, they removed the roofing debris and left the house perimeter clean by sweeping for nails.  The provider then followed up by doing a walk-through of the completed job and again swept the property for nails.  Two weeks after the job completion, we experienced a long rainy period, and the provider called us to make sure our new roof had no leaks.
This provider was very responsive and personable during the entire re-roofing job. All proposed tasks were completed professionally and on schedule, and the results were verified during the inspection process. We're very happy with our beautiful new roof and we definitely recommend this provider without any reservations.

Went  very well. When they discovered plywood under shingles that needed replaced, they immediately notified us  and sent us pictures of the boards that needed replaced. Replacement price was reasonable.
The only negatives we had:
1. Several small patches of tar were on the front sidewalk
2. One of the workers left his shirt draped over the chimney pipe. Mt neighbor noticed it and told me about it. They came right out and removed it.

They were quick and timely. I had to just remind them when they were supposed to be here. My overall experience with them was excellent.
