One Undisclosed The project took longer than it should have. I had to call and hound them for service, after I paid my deposit. The work was very shoddy. Specifications that were clearly spelled out were not performed. One man showed up to do all the work. The boss never showed up to inspect or supervise. I had to call and complain that the board were not nailed on the runners. The excuse was that the nail gun did not work that day. The gate did not work properly for six months. Finally the boss came out to drill a hole for the pin to keep it from opening in every big wind. Now a year later the cross board on the gate is cracked and splintering. To add to all this the billing was MORE than the original estimate. I would have done better to go with another company. Two other companies had estimates that were less than this contractor BUT they did not have written estimates. A Business card with a scratched on price just doesn't cut it with me it has to be written.
