don't know where to start with this company. Our AC went out and the first reaction was just fill it up with refrigerant and hope for the best and use a dye to show any leaks. A week later we were back to square one so once again gave them a call. The tech Austin came out and looked for the leak not to find anything. He said we would need a isolation test that they couldn't do till next week. We ended up calling another company and in the first 10 minutes they were able to find that they weren't even looking in the right area and were able to fix it. We are out $580 for this company to not solve anything and not do anything. The best part Austin still charged us even after admitting he wasn't sure of the issue. All both techs did is criticize the brand of AC we have (Goodman) and try to repair parts that weren't broken. If you want a company that will but not solve anything and try to screw you this is the place. I can't imagine how many others they have screwed over and overcharged in the process. Luckily we are once again enjoying our AC no thanks to Riffles!!!!

To be fair; the initial visit by their first tech and the second tech who cleaned the coil did a good job and were polite and professional. The trouble started with the tech they sent out to install the filter vent. During his attempted install, he damaged the wall around the filter vent in several places and then pretended that he didn't know he'd done any damage when my wife pointed it out to him. He then made a sloppy attempt to repair the drywall in a couple of places but never touched the other damage, claiming we wouldn't notice it after the wall was repainted. My wife immediately took pictures of the damage, which I forwarded to one of the owners of the company. To make a long and painful story short, it took me a month of calling and going back and forth with Riffle before my wall was repaired The attitude the owner I dealt with had about the whole thing was for me the single worst thing of the whole experience: He would constantly say the problem was out of his hands once he contacted a drywall company and made an appointment with them to do the repair. He didn't seem to understand the concept that it was his tech's mistake and therefore his responsibility until the repair was completed to my satisfaction. I feel that if I hadn't kept the pressure on, I'd still be waiting for my wall to be fixed. Plus, once the work was finally done, the owner never bothered to call us to make sure we were satisfied with the work. To sum it up, I would say use these guys at your own risk; there's definitely no guarantees when it comes to the skillset of the tech they send to your home.

I called Riffle's when referred by a friend to get another quote on a whole new system because 2 previous companies both said the problem with the unit wasn't repairable - I would have to purchase a new coil (L&M about $2000) or buy a whole new system. I had resigned to getting a whole new system. When I spoke with Victor, he gave me an excellent price on a new system and then he asked me why I was wanting one. I explained everything that had happened since the previous Friday night when we lost a/c and what the service techs from the other companies had said. He said "I can fix that" and said he'd have someone out the next day. Sure enough, his guy fixed it and we have wonderful a/c again! Riffle's is now my go-to company for HVAC and I will let everyone I know to use them too. Honesty, integrity and excellent service!

This was a weekend visit (holiday weekend!!) the tech was there within an hour. Very professional. I have used them before and so has my girlfriend and we wouldn't go with anyone else. Fair and reasonable. My plumber also suggested using them too.

We are new to the area and don't know anyone. I have been utilzing Angie's List, a long with local folks experiences to choose our contractors. Our plumbler suggest Riffle Air as he had them to his house on several occasions. He was spot on!! The service technician was professional, experienced, and really enjoyed his work and relating to people. I stopped by during lunch and disussed everything with him, even though it was mid day and he was covered head-to-toe with sweat, he stopped and gave me a full run down of our equipment. I will definately have them back next time and they made me a customer. As long as I get customer service like that, don't really care what they charge me, it's worth it.

ON SUNDAY NIGHT AT ABOUT 5:00 P.M. MY HEATING SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING. THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE WAS IN THE 40'S AND STILL FALLING. A SERVICE TECH. CAME OUT ABOUT 9:00 P.M. AND WORKED ON THE UNIT UNTIL 10:00 P.M. HE MANAGED TO GET IT WORKING AND RETURNED THE NEXT DAY TO INSTALL A NEW SWITCH.

While house-sitting for friends, their air conditioner stopped working. It was 545 PM, Friday night. I wanted the issue fixed as soon as possible, since the outside temperature was close to 100 and the inside temperature was in the low-90's! I knew it would be an emergency call due to the day and time, and I was concerned I would not be able to find someone willing to come out. I called my regular HVAC guy, but there was no answer. I checked the List for an alternate. I chose Riffles because he had great reports, and seemed to be the closest. Victor, the owner, was on call and agreed to come out immediately. As it turned out, they are located ~25 miles away, so Victor called me back to let me know it would take him longer to get here than he had originally anticipated. Upon arrival Victor was quite friendly, and began figuring out the problem immediately. He was patient with me tagging along and asking him questions; he explained and demonstrated everything he was doing, and the reasons why. He examined all the components of the system, and determined the problem was the thermostat - he even demonstrated how he knew that was the only problem. He gave me two options for a replacement, explaining why he liked each of them. He installed the new thermostat and demonstrated how it worked. The air conditioning was working again just a little over an hour of my phone call! Riffles was willing to do an emergency service call for a first time customer - not every company would do that. The promptness of Victor's response, his professionalism, his speediness in determining and fixing the problem were all greatly appreciated. Victor spoke with pride about the guys who work for him, and it was obvious he has high standards for the quality of them and the work the company performs. I will absolutely call Riffles for my future HVAC needs.

Being from the north we had no knowledge of whole house AC units. We had no idea if the one we had (we just bought the house and it looked pretty nasty) was going to die in the next week or not. The technician David was beyond excellent. He went through each thing he checked and explained what it was and what he was doing. David has to be the most polite, professional service man we have ever encountered and is a credit to the company he works for. Because of this experience I will always call Riffle for all our heating and AC requirements. Again, David thank you so much for our new peace of mind.

A/C was broken...he was out as soon as I needed him. Very professional and nice, took about 20 minutes and was done. Air works like new again and he did not overcharge for what was done. I will use this company again if needed and would recommend it to anyone looking for valuable, professional, courteous service.

They took the time to really find out what the problem was, and it wasn't what Victor at first thought it might be. He showed our house guests the failed piece and did some rerouting to correct the problem, explaining every step to my guest and then by phone to me directly. When it comes to A/C I'm always nervous because it can mean big bucks and we didn't have a professional we could trust here yet. I will recommend Riffle to everyone in Clermont or Orlando. They're honest, responsive, and they do good work! Whew, I was so relieved! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Riffle's Air and Heat made a service call to my house, my air conditioner quit working 4 days ago. I called the company this morning and he was out this afternoon, it took him about 10-15 minutes to figure out what was wrong. He replaced a fire stat, the whole visit was approximately 30 min., he was very nice and professional. I would most definitely use them again and also recommend them.

A snake had gotten in electrical circuits of the air conditioner. They replaced the solenoid. They could have told me it was the motor and I would have not known the difference, but they did not and it cost me only a fraction of what it could have been. I already hired them to start servicing my air conditioning on a regular basis.

Excellent service. The tech was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was very thorough with his inspections and did a great job of checking and cleaning our HVAC units. The units were 10 years old and we had recently moved into the house so we were a little worried about their condition, but he said everything looked good and didn't even try to sell us anything unnecessary.

We realized about 3 weeks ago that we had no a/c. My husband found this company in the phone book and called them. Someone came the next day. He told us what was wrong. The service men came on the following Tuesday. They did all the repairs, were very friendly, and knew what they were doing. The one thing they did which I thought was great was they stayed for several minutes after they finished to make sure everything was working properly...I certainly would recommend this company.
