Cool A/C & Ref Inc

Cool A/C and Ref Inc went out of their way that if it's not covered under warranty that they'd have it covered under warranty and they did. It worked out very well for us. The warranty was for 5 years and it was just past 5 years and nobody wanted to work with us except them. Their pricing was excellent, out of the 4 companies that we got a quote from, there was only 1 that came close.

For my being in a bad situation, these folks took out so much of the worry.
We had been having trouble since May and were working with a different HVAC dealer who simply charged the system. We were due to go out of town in August when the air stopped working again. We contacted the same company and they came out but only put in enough coolant for a few days. They suggested we have the unit checked for a leak which would be done with dye and cost around $100. They couldn't get me a quote on the inside coil. Then I had trouble reaching them again and they knew it from the messages I left.
I finally called Cool Air and they came out to help. They performed a sniffer type test and noted the leak in the air handler coil which both companies indicated would most likely be the problem. They then went about getting a pricing on the coil. In the meantime I contacted several other vendors for price quotes. One in particular suggested that if the entire HVAC were installed at the same time the warranty may be for 10 years (this unit was 5 yrs old). When Cool Air got the pricing quote I told them about the possible warranty. They spoke with the manufacturer that day and cleared the unit for warranty part replacement. This negotiation can sometimes be tricky, but they fought for me.
The pricing was great as were the repair personnel.
I waited some time to file this report to be sure that all is working well and it is.
