F&C Cleaning and Handyman Servicez

I hired Pierre to paint a garage wall, mount Saferack shelves onto the garage ceiling, mount a TV on the wall and put handles on Bathroom cabinets. He quoted me a price of $700. He painted the wall. Pierre and another worker struggled with putting up the shelves. Pierre and another worker bought a wall mount for the TV. I told Pierre I would need a mount that allowed the TV to move from side to side. He said that the one he bought didn’t allow the tv to move side to side but insisted it would be fine and it was mounted anyway. I told him that thermostat need to be moved and he insisted it would be no problem. After almost 8 hours, the only thing that got done was one wall painted in the garage. When they left part of the wall mount was left up on the wall. Pierre asked for $300 to cover expenses so I wrote him a check. I told him I had to work on Friday so to come back Monday to finish. Monday AM Pierre texted to say that he forgot that it was his wife’s birthday and wouldn’t be able to make it. We agreed in today, Tuesday 5/25 for him to return. I told him I had other things for him to do so he wouldn’t have to continue with the garage job. (There were screws and shelving left scattered all over the garage. One piece was mounted haphazardly.) It is now Tuesday at 4pm. I have yet to hear from Pierre. I would definitely not recommend Pierre.
