I recall that they had some personal issues and because of the special deal they were very backed up and could not get all of the work done that they had promised. They had to schedule it way out. The day they were supposed to do me, they had personal problems and one of their guys didn't show up and got fired. Things were a little messy. I don't consider that typical. I had no problem with the work that they did.

Everything went well overall.  The crew was professional and performed requested services to my satisfaction.

They arrived on time and, considering there were only two men, did a very good job of what we had discussed when Dewey came to give me an estimate.  They trimmed shrubbery, did some weeding and cleaning out of overgrown areas especially in our back yard.  They called me to come from work and inspect what they had done and went back and tackled some of the areas they had not done due to miscommunication from the time we agreed to a date and price and when they actually were able to come.

I could tell they were overwhelmed due to the Big Deal.  They sent some guys out, and they didn't do the best work.  I received an email from Angie's List a couple weeks later stating they were cancelling the Deal with that company.

After not showing up, I called him and he said he cancelled his contract with Angie's List.  Inferring that I am on my own.  What was frustrating to me is I had to keep calling him and then when I did reach him, he tells me he ended his contract with Angie's List.

Dewey Nicks (Owner of Lawn Transformers) called me within one business day of coupon purchase to schedule services.  The two man team promptly started work after a short discussion of expectations. They worked the first two hours of the four hour block relentlessly without breaking. The team finished expected work and was able to perform some additional tasks as well. They cleaned up the area thoroughly upon completion.  I will have them back for future projects.  Our neighbors were impressed with the speed at which they worked and at what they accomplished in the four hour period.

Dewey arrived right away, on time and was very pleasant. He provided me a cost that blew the competition out of the water. Dewey did not try to push me to buy other services. He stated that any time I needed anything else to just give him a call. I signed a contract with him that day.
He has arrived as quoted in the contract and performed the job very much to my liking every time. He is a wonderful business man and is very punctual, weather permitting of course.
I will continue my contract with him. I am completely happy with his professionalism and performance.

My lawn was completely dead, and I had a big ugly palm tree in my front yard.  Dewey came by the same day I called him to give me an estimate on a new lawn and removing the tree.  We agreed to start the work about a week out and it would be done over a period of 2 days (due to me having a morning appt).  The work was started on time, finished on time, and looks fantastic!

Viewed the work this company did laying sod all the way to weekly lawn maintenance to my neighbors yard and I was impressed. My yard was in total disarray and called them. Dewey was very cordial on the phone and set up an appointment to look at my yard that day which was a Monday. We discussed the replacement of my front yard grass and also removal of two sago palms. This included the removal of the old grass/weeds, sprinkler head adjustments (if needed). The number came in so low my wife immediately agreed to the cost. Tuesday he called to inform me that sod would be delivered Wednesday night and the job would be completed Thursday. Everything went flawlessly  and my front yard looks great!!!
 I have such confidence in Lawn Transformers and Dewey that I have also committed to have them landscape the front yard and possibly the back.
