Hired a top dollar inspection (National Certified wood floor inspection) report shows a poor job.

On referral from another flooring company, we called Colin for an estimate.  He came out that night and had an estimate to me within 24 hours via email.  We met him up at a local flooring/tile store on a Saturday to discuss our options as to what look we were going for and what his opinions were about the different materials available.  He liked what we had in mind (porcelain tile), but he also showed us the option of travertine.  I never considered it before because I figured it was too expensive, but in the end it was cheaper than what we originally wanted and the look was relatively the same.  So we went with the travertine.  He took us through the store section by section to pick different materials for the floor, shower walls, and shower floor.  Once we had an idea of what the material cost was going to be, we had to wait a month or so before we could start the project. This was because of our finances, not because of Colin's scheduling.  The nice thing about working with Colin is that he will call you back, which is one of the main reasons we went with him.  He actually shows up (which is more than some of the other contractors we have tried to work with)!! He gave us a week timeline for the job and met it. He picked up the tile from the store and delivered as part of the contract price.  All demo was done in the first few hours and all trash removed.  The only hiccup in the project was because the tile store did not give us all of the tile and that delayed things just a bit, however, Miguel (the installer) worked around it.  Colin went and picked up the tile so we didn't have to. After the work was finished, Colin came back and sealed the tile and grout, tucked the carpet where necessary, and installed  new quarter round at the baseboards.  He also referred us to a great glass guy to do  the shower door. 
We are extremely happy with the work that was performed and will look to A&W for any flooring we have done in the future.
