Father and Son came out and were prompt. They checked the unit then pulled it apart and cleaned it. The whole time my little dog was bugging the father who petted it and played with it a little. Once they were done, they came in and checked the vents. They got the job done and were friendly and the price was reasonable. They came out the next day after I called which was great as it is supposed to be in the 90's today.

I got 5 bids.
Their price was 4th lowest of the 5. Before giving the estimate he was much more through than the other 4. The 3 highest bids all came from sales people who would not be doing the work, so I assume their prices are padded for the unknown.
The 2 lowest bids were recommended to me by people I know. The other 3 were highly rated by Angie's list.
Matt the owner, estimator and installer came highly recommended by my friend  who is a commercial painter and owns rental property and has used  Bogan's 50-60 times and never had a complaint.
Matt, Denise and Paul showed up when they said they would. After dealing with Matt through the estimating process and many hours of the installation, I felt so comfortable with them that I left them alone to access my home so they could check the system out after installation.
They did not require payment from me until Matt came back several days later to insure there were no leaks and address any issues I had.
Matt researched how I could get an additional rebate from the Gas Company.
Needless to say, I would not hesitate to use them and recommend them again.
The only negative is because they are a small outfit, you normally have to leave a message and they will get back with you. That is why they got a B rating for responsiveness.

I discovered the company after researching Angie's for the area and contacted them to look at my father's heat pump which was showing signs of failure. The company was very professional and helpful. They were on time, professional, provided valuable advice and coordinated all of the work. My father's heat pump was badly corroded due to the Florida coast atmosphere. I could not be there personally, but the owner spoke to me on the phone, reviewed the status and recommendations, then discussed all available options. When my father decided to proceed, the owner was personally involved at every key point in the installation.

There was an early failure caused by an anomaly, but they were at the house very quickly and resolved the issue. I happened to be visiting and noticed the house was warm. After I called within minutes the owner called me, got the information and coordinated the arrival of one of his technicians. By the end of the evening the unit was running again and there have been no subsequent problems.

We've been using Bogans since 1981, when it was called Paul's heating and A/C. That's 30 years of great service. They don't rip you off, and usually, if they don't have the parts in stock, they'll have it the next day.

They have done a wonderful job for us over the years. They guys that work for them are a professional group of people.
