Good. The electricians sent were professional and courtious. My pool guy said the line to pool heater was very well done. Slight negatives - Cover was not provided for previous chandalier box. Actual price I believe came in a little higher than verbal estimate.

From call to Juan for estimate, to clean up & payment job went very smoothly. Juan was able to come & check job & give estimate a few hours after I called. He accommodated my request for a specific work day. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, & communicative (important to me). I'll certainly call Juan for future needs, & recommend him to friends.

Juan came out to give us an estimate immediately. We scheduled the work and Fernando and Ricky came out to do the work. They were prompt and polite. They finished their work in a timely manner and left everything neat and clean. They absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you!!

I called Juan today at 11:00 a.m.  He was available for the afternoon and would call when he finished the current task in process.  He called me back earlier than he committed, arrived promptly, and quickly diagnosed my problem.  He did not have the brand of breaker he needed to replace on his truck so he left, purchased the breaker and came back to install it.  The entire process from first call to completion of the job was less than 3 1/2 hours.  The cost was less than I expected.  Juan is personable, professional, and knowledgeable.  I have a number of small jobs that I've been putting off around the house.  I will definitely call Juan to do those as well.

It went great.  The guys came extra  early so I could get to work on time. They fixed all my issues really quickly and then offered to do more.  The guys are so nice, honest and hard working.  You can't ask for more.   They really deserve rave reviews! I would happily recommend them to everyone and I would definitely use them for all my electrical jobs.

After reading so many positive reviews for this service provider on Angies list, I called this morning hoping to be able to schedule for sometime this week. They not only responded to my service call within 20 minutes, but they came out this afternoon (same day service) and completed the job request. Friendly, professional, quality service and reasonably priced is how I describe this company. I highly recommend them!!!

Realized I was in a dire situation, so called to see if they could help. The owner said he could come right out, and even warned me what the cost would be for a Saturday afternoon. He came right out, in his personal vehicle, and had everything fixed in an hour. He was courteous, professional, and efficient. They are who I will call from now on due to the way my situation was handled. Would recommend them to any and everyone!

If you want a professional job done by qualified people at a great price, use J&R Universal Electric.  I would not recommend anyone else better than they are.
Juan, the owner, came out when he said he would to look at what I wanted so he could give me a quote. He scheduled a day for his guys to come out to do the work.  On schedule, Roberto and Fernando showed up and started right to work. They knew exactly what was to be done.  They quickly and efficiently worked through the day until it was completed. Their work was very neat and showed us that everything was working when they finished.  They worked around us and were never in the way.  They cleaned up when they finished and you could not tell they worked all day cutting holes for running the wires, boxes and switch. They were very polite and professional at all times and their work was top quality.  I will not hesitate to use them again the next time I need any electrical work done on my house.
I have a friend who knows someone who retired from electrical work and was told that the price they quoted was very good and if we liked the work they did, I should not bother getting quotes from anyone else in the future. Now, I do not have to worry about paying too much in the future.  The guys from J&R did an excellent job at a great price.  I am glad I found them on Angies list.

I hired J & R Universal Electric to install a new door bell chime, transformer and pushbutton.  Additionally, I had them add two cut ins with power above a vanity.  Fernando headed up the job with Rick as his assistant and I couldn't have asked for better.  They were on time, professional, courteous, polite and a real pleasure to work with.   Once complete, they cleaned everything up and all was spic and span.  They worked hard and finished the job in approximately 2 1/2 hours including all paperwork.

I met with Juan who gave me an estimate for this job and a couple other items we are considering.  The price quoted for the electric work was reasonable and Juan certainly talked as if he knew how it would go and what needed to be done.

We agreed to begin the work on a future date.  The time set for the work to begin was between 8 and 9 in the morning.  It was awesome when the doorbell rang at 8:05 and Juan and his helper were ready to begin the job.  The job came out as promised and we are very pleased.  He even brought a fixture to show me what it would look like if we decide to proceed with the future work quoted for the other job.

I would definitely use J & R again.

.This is  the 2nd time we used Juan's services. They are great. we called and he came out and measured our area. he called back the next day with his estimate We reviewed our calendars and agreed on a date. On that date he called when he was 15 minutes away. Naturally when he arrived he did an outstanding job. 

 What more can you ask. This is a top tier company.

1.  Spoke to Juan on 4/3 in the evening regarding the operation of my boat lift and Circuit Breaker tripping.
2.  Juan spent about 15 minutes at 9PM asking troubleshooting questions and advised that most likely the problem was a short with the Motor.
3.  Set up an appointment for the next day and his Technician Fernando arrive and immediately started troubleshooting the lift. 
4.  Fernando isolated problem to the Motor closest to the deck and went on top of the lift and founjd that the cover of Motor was completely full of water.   Previous contractor had put cover on sideways and water was unable to drain causing the motor to trip circuit breaker.
5.  After removing and installing cover correctly lift was tested and worked perfect.
6.  Juan and Fernando were courteous and Professional.  I definietly would recommend them.

Great. They arrived on time. Came with everything that they needed,  wore booties and were respectful of my home and furniture. As well, they were not hesitant to move furniture to get the job done.
They were actually presented with a bit of a problem in completing the task. This is because my theater room was actually blocking most of the ceiling that was to have the 4 recessed cans put in. They worked through that and got the job done well, leaving me with just a small area of sheet-rock to be repaired because of what had to be done to get the wiring down to the switches. Understandable.
There was a good level of professionalism. The points for the application of the recessed cans were measured painstakingly with laser equipment. There was nothing haphazard or eyeballed here. considering what they were presented with in the way of obstacles, they finished in good time.
All told, great job!
 

This is what all professional contractors should aspire to do. agree on a date , Call a half hour ahead of arrival time .
Juan and  Fernondo were professional, competent, and very neat. They made some excellent suggestions and the finished job was outstanding We are having them back to add under counter lighting in our kitchen.
