Two Men And A Truck

We cannot say enough great things about Rickey and Luis from Two Men and a Truck. They arrived on time, were professional and went straight to work, They were friendly, upbeat and handled our belongings as we would. A lot of heavy items but there wasn't one negative word from them....you cannot go wrong with these guys!

The office staff was pleasant. The movers however were short and somewhat ill tempered. I even feed them subs because they have not eaten for the day yet and did not even get a thank you...very entitled. Then when they moved everything to my new house (in the time frame I expected) their dolly damaged my front door step. It scraped the doorstep and left two big gashes to take off the top part of the concrete. One of the reasons I went with two men and a truck is because they promote that they will take care of any damages. They not only told me that it was faulty construction that my doorstep was somehow my fault that their dolly scratched it; it took weeks for them to get to that conclusion. This whole expereince was very disastifsfing. I would never, never, use them again. This was for the Belleview location of Two Men and a Truck.

I have used them twice in the last three years. They are awesome and he is absolutely the best. He charged me less than the quote because, he got it done faster, so it didn't cost me as much. They are a really good company. They never broke anything. They came and set-up my bed for me. They fussed about how the bedroom was going to be, and how the furniture was going to be arranged. They are cute and they are young kids. They wouldn't let me leave stuff in the garage, they put it where I wanted it. They charged $1300 from Largo to Gainsville. They charged me a couple of hundred less on both trips. I would always use them and I always recommend them. I thought it was a good cost in my book.

I was so impressed with these movers! They were friendly, hardworking and careful. They wrapped furniture in pads and plastic before loading it. They did a much better job than any movers we've ever used--and we've moved a lot. I would recommend them highly, especially if they're sending out Jairus and James!

Did a great job prepping belongings and moving a short distance.

I booked a move with Two Men and a Truck about a week and a half before the move. A couple of days before the scheduled move, I called asking for more help. There was a snag in the new house and an medical emergency that distracted me from meeting a packing deadline. I lost a day and half to distractions and it set me back in the schedule. I called Two Men and a Truck and they were able to slip us in the day before for some extra time packing up our kitchen the night before the move. Saturday morning, they showed up at 8:30am and started packing and loading the truck. The truck (26ft) was loaded by lunch time and we took a sandwich break. We then drove to the new house and they quickly unloaded the house and positioned all the furniture and put the boxes in all the right places. I don't know what we would have done without their help.
The men were friendly, very helpful, and explained everything. They were fantastic with my young daughter (12yo) who was bouncing between freaking out and curiosity. They put her at ease and she wasn't a distraction to mom. They gave us advise to move the fish tank near the door which we able to the night before.
The men were professional, quick, and had everything under control.
The office staff was helpful, sweet, and calming to this freaked out customer.
I will call them again.

They were great - efficient, polite, professional, friendly, just the sort of thing one wants in movers. They worked hard and completed the job in less time than estimated, which meant the cost was significantly less than the estimate. Of course this made my mother and me very happy. I would recommend them again anytime, anywhere to anyone. Great job. I cannot say enough good things about Two Men and a Truck.

Moving from second floor apt. Bungled a few things

2 movers showed up and began to load our belongings. When it was time to dissemble our bed frame, they shared that they had no tools. We had to go buy tools since ours were packed and dissemble the bed ourselves. Moving was pretty slow; movers were nice but didn't seem terribly experienced. After several hours of packing they announced that all our items (3/2, with less stuff than most according to both our realtors) would not fit in the truck and offered no solution. I suggested that they come back and pick up the rest (since the reason we hired movers was to move all our belongings, not just most of them). They agreed but said there would be an extra charge, which we approved since we had no other way to complete our move. Unloading took even longer; I helped unload for about an hour myself. When the team was ready to go back for the remainder of our items, their office manager called and told me they were already late to their next appointment and would not be able to move the rest of our items, and that maybe they would be able to get to them on Saturday (we moved on Thursday). We were told it was our fault since our list of items to be moved was not detailed or accurate enough. I find this odd since the movers who moved our same household from Georgia to Florida several months earlier (who we were very happy with) had no trouble selecting the correct size truck and team - they came to our house before we'd even started packing to look at our belongings. Also, since we were living in a short term rental in Gainesville, we had unpacked only the essentials and left the rest packed in the garage. I think I was able to give a more accurate estimate with our belongings all packed than most people would before they had packed. Everyone who I've told about this experience has been shocked that we were left high and dry by these movers, who we paid $800 to move our household and reserved over a month in advance and called to confirm several times before moving day. We are still pretty shocked ourselves and were not happy to spend the next several days moving the rest of our items in cars and friends' trucks and trailers. In the long run, it would have been easier, less frustrating, and much less expensive to move ourselves. We would never, ever use this company again and hope others will save themselves from major expense, inconvenience, and disappointment by avoiding them. There are good movers out there; we were fortunate to have them for our earlier move, but really got burned with Two Men and a Truck. To us, it's Two Men and Then You're Out of Luck.

The woman in the office was precise and pleasant. The young men who came showed up exactly on time and got the piano out of a room where a tricky hallway was. They used extreme care and did a great job! I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Plus, the job came in below the estimate due to their diligence!

On time, efficient and easy to work with!

Excellent service. The guys were very professional and hardworking. Communication was extremely easy prior to move date. The only problems were encountered were that the time estimate was very off. They predicted 5 hours based on the items we listed, but the move took 10 hours, even though the 2 guys worked extremely hard. Items were handled with extreme care. Other than that, excellent experience overall

I can't recommend this company highly enough. Everyone -- from office staff to the delivery team -- were professional, organized, and helpful. We were in a very chaotic state because of a family emergency, and we had to schedule our move to our new home with almost no notice. They were able to accommodate our crazy schedule.
More importantly, they helped us feel a little less frantic as they were so organized and competent.
The walls of the house we sold are made of redwood, a very soft wood which easily scratches. The doorways in this house are very narrow, as the home was built in the 1960s. They managed to move everything out -- taking off doors, engineering very resourceful solutions -- without a scratch. They handled the entire move with good humor, even taking our old stove to an ailing friend of ours and moving his stove out of his house.
Friends of ours used this company for their move and sang their praises so highly that we went with them without comparing pricing. We are so grateful we did. Our move (overall) was horrific for a host of reasons, but Two Men and a Truck were a bright spot in an otherwise difficult week. We will use them anytime we need moving services again. Fantastic company.

We have used them four times and they have always come in under budget. They have moved our kids to schools, and from apartment to apartment. We have been very pleased with their service, and have never experienced any damage. We will definitely use this group again, and can highly recommend them.

The 2 movers came within the arrival window, they moved all furniture and boxes from a storage unit to various places in my home. They worked quickly. The job took about 3.5 hours. I would definitely use this company again.

Our first estimate was $960.00 but we discussed using 3 guys instead of two for a shorter time and got it down to $884.00. It turned out that we paid less, $740.00, because they did the move in less time than originally estimated. The company is very professional keeping you updated with reminders and helpful suggestions about moving day. On the actual moving day, we had 3 young men, Corey, James and Matt do our move. They were extremely professional, courteous and nice. They were very careful of our possessions, they did a great job and tried hard to please us. We really couldn't have asked for a better job.

They were fabulous. They were early. They worked well and stayed within the limits of when I had asked them to stay. They worked steadily and I really appreciate that. They weren't just knocking the clock. I didn't have a single thing broken. They were great. I would use them again in the future if need be.
