The irrigation system leaked for a year and flooded my driveway. Every time i asked them to fix it they said it was normal and would get upset with me for asking, (it was not normal it was a mistake they made installing the irrigation discovered by new company i hired) Half the lawn that i paid $2000 for died because he wouldn't take care of it. On top of all this they would blow all the leaves in my lawn under the bushes instead of getting rid of them. After all this he quit and told me he was focusing on large complexes and apartments leaving me with all these issues. Do Not Hire Top Dog!!!!

I think the most important thing was that the owner was there, the owner supervised the work, and the work was excellent.

They were on time the day they said they'd come, and did an excellent job. Some debris was left down by the street, and a little over towards a neighbor's yard. The neighbor complained the next morning, so I called Danny and asked him to take care of it. It was done that morning. Danny also created a new bed on the front side of the house which looks quite good. He put new plants to the right of my garage door along the house. Also quite attractive. I have hired them to do routine lawn maintenance and to keep the plants and shrubs in good shape.

They were prompt and professional. They were down and worked quickly. It was easy to d, they billed me and we sent it in. They were good. The only thing I'm not 100% on their mulch, mulch has different grades and there's pine bark and some of the bark is large pieces of stuff. I think it takes a lot longer for it to break down. Theirs was more smaller pieces of mulch and I also had some twigs in it or pieces of wood in it and wood is not necessarily good for the soil. It's not necessarily a nutrient whereas the breaking out of the pine bark is good for the soil. They had a cheaper price but the mulch is a cheaper grade. I don't know that any other customer would be concerned about that to even mention it. They were responsive. They did what they were supposed to do. The box was on the spot, we checked everything and made sure it was okay. I would use them again.

For starters, Danny who is the owner met with me at my house. We walked around the entire yard and he explained what he would do. He followed up the same day with a written estimate. We scheduled the work on a day we could both be present as I have dogs and need to keep them calm when someone is working around my house. He called the day before to tell me when he would arrive which was 9:30 on Saturday morning. He and his crew (5 guys) arrived on time, and in 3 hours they had completely finished the job. I was amazed at how fast they worked! They not only cleared everything, they mulched the leaves, trimmed up the bottom tree branches on some of my trees, hauled everything away, mowed my yard, trimmed my shrubs, and followed all of my instructions beyond my expectations. To say that I am happy is an understatement! My yard looks better than it has in years, and I am really happy that it will stay that way with Danny's bi-weekly maintenance program. His crew was super hardworking and courteous, and the whole experience was easy. Love this company! I highly recommend them.

I got bids from three companies on Angie's list. They were way under the other two. They scheduled the job right away. They showed up with 10 cubic yards of mulch and five guys and got the job done in one morning. The work was excellent and I intend to use them again. It is nice to work with people who know what they are doing.

A call to Mr Puckett resulted in a visit to review and agree upon work to be done. A ballpark estimate was given and a date for service was agreed upon. Within a day or two I received a formal work order estimate and confirmation of work date.  They arrived the morning of the work date with all required equipment and supplies as well as an entire crew, supervised and accompanied by Mr Puckett for the duration of the job. We look beautiful and all items on the list were completed. Later that day or the next I received the invoice for remittance.  We are impressed with Top Dog and Mr Puckett and have already recommended him to our friends.

Danny and his crew arrived at the time they indicated and promptly went to work trimming all the shrubs.  Danny took care of uprooting and taking away the sego palm.  When all that was done, they unloaded and spread the ten (10) yards of red cedar mulch around the house.  The job took about 2 1/2 hours all together.  The result was a neat looking area around the home.

We were very impressed and happy with the service we received from Top Dog Lawn Care. The owner, Danny, was a complete professional and handled the whole process smoothly. I would definitely recommend this company.

Mr. Puckett does his residential work on the weekends, so after talking to him and getting an estimate for the work, he came on a Saturday which suited me fine.  I was home for him to consult about some of the things I wanted done, and about which plants could go and which could stay.  I would say that in under three hours, he and his two helpers had cleaned the yard really well, and had defined all my beds and mulched areas.  At one point, a huge yellow jacket city was discovered under a growth of ground cover jasmine and one of the fellows was stung several times.  But they just kept going.  Eventually, it started to rain in torrents, but the guys waited around and collected all the debris in one spot for collection.  The yard is just a lot neater.  They did really good work.

He's very reliable, punctual, professional and does good quality work.

He was very easy to work with. He was quick and did not pressure us for extra costs. He did exactly what we asked for and we were very pleased.

Efficient, fair priced and takes pride in work.  Excellent and called back a few days later to be sure that pleased with the job.

Very polite and efficient with initial visit. Great job on lawn and Palms, they even blew all the leaves from pool area.  Took care of all debri, and were even careful to make sure the dogs stayed in the yard when they left.
Price was fair for initial mowing, but the two week maintenance was a little more than we planned on spending.
