I took my dog in because she was having a slight cough that had gone on for about a week. The doc was great, don't get me wrong, but she examined her lungs and the rest of her, took some blood and gave me some pills. I was highly distraught when the bill came to $250. I just thought this was outrageous. Was the blood work necessary and what drove up the cost so much??
I will never go there again because I really feel their prices are excessively high. I now go to Dr. Cindy out at the Waldo Flea Market. She is there most weekends, but just put De. Cindy, Waldo flea market in your search and you will find her schedule. She is excellent and does everything she can to keep costs low. That is her mission is to make veterinary care accessible for people of all incomes. I am really tired of vets who do not keep costs in mind and instead, charge as much as possible. No wonder there are so many dogs on the street with various diseases, simply because the owners cannot afford veterinary care. Don;t they have an altruistic bone in their bodies???

When I walked in, I was already very scared because my dog was completely fine one day and the next day he wouldn't eat or drink.  The waiting room was pleasant and they got us in right away.  The doctor knew he was very sick.  she did not try to sugar coat anything, which I needed.  She told me a few times that he was very sick and that we needed to take him to the UF ER.  She called ahead and made an appointment for him and my mom and I rushed him over there right way.  She even told me, I'm not going to do blood work or X-rays here as they will do it there and it will just cost you extra money. 
  I lost my Remington that day, but they treated him so well at this location, and even sent a card after they heard what happened.  When I am ready to get another dog, I will go back.

Dr.Elgerd provided great care of my cat on very short notice. She is an excellent, caring doctor.

Our older kitty developed an issue with its colon.  Dr. Lisa gave the cat a full exam in a very calm and gentle manner and spent the time needed to really get to the root of the situation.  X-rays were taken, cat was made comfortable and we were given a medication to try.  Instructions for follow up care were complete and easy to understand.
The office assistants are knowledgeable and caring, the exam room clean and functional without feeling overly "medical".
It was a great experience for me as the pet momma, and was as pleasant as possible for the cat involved. I have used them before for general healthy exams, but this was the first "emergency" visit and I was really impressed. You leave there feeling like they care deeply about your pet.  I also appreciate that they don't pressure you into add on services.

I was notified by email that it was time for my pet's wellness exam.  I scheduled the appointment.  My pet and I were greeted by the receptionist.  The pet was weighed and then we were escorted into the clean exam room.  After a short delay my vet peeked throught the window in the door and smiled at my dog.  She entered the room with the tech and greeted me and my pet.  She gave my pet kisses and treats before, during, and after the exam.  It was time for vaccinations.  The shot was given with a treat.  She chatted with me, asked me if I had any questions, alerted me about possible after effects of shot.  I always make the appointments with my favorite vet, Cynthia Ice, but all vets there are caring, thorough, and professional.

Our service with them went really really well. They were very compassionate and attentive. They were very competitive with their prices, as well. I was very very pleased with them.

We go to them a lot for anything that he needs.  They are very good.

They were extremely reponsive, professional, and understanding. They got me my sick cat in immediately, spent as much time as I needed, showed me the x-rays, and provided comfort. I am new to the area and feel I made an excellent choice in selecting Timberview. I subsequently brought my other cat in for her yearly check-up, vaccines, and boarding later in the month. I was happily surprised that the bill was well under what I expected!

Everyone friendly-great visit.

The office is very clean and appropriate for all animals.  The staff is prompt and courteous.  They always remember my animals, even when it has been a while.  I am given a size and animal appropriate room, i.e. a large room when I take my large dog and a smaller room with a table when I take my cat.  They handle the and treat the animals with respect and care.  They are always eager to answer any questions and explain all procedures.  They offer options if it is a large procedure or treatment or one that may be elective.  There is never a long wait, either in the waiting area or the treatment room, even when I have been fit in at a moments notice. They always call to check on my pet if it was seen for an illness.  I have used this vet for several years, almost 16, and I would not go anywhere else.  They have always been there for my animals and me.

Max spent several days with IV fluids on and constant checking of his sugar & keytones. the first week he showed positive sign & was feeling a lot better again. He now is back to his old self eating well, playing and barking as usual.

Basic vet exam for our geriatric Newfoundland. You gotta appreciate any Vet that gets down on the floor with your dog! Thorough exam, well done. On followup to remove a cyst they combined a dental in at the same time to minimize anaesthesia. They aren't cheap, but they are cheaper than 2 Brand X vets we tried that were just dog/cat mills. These folks seem to actually care about your pet. Unlike other vets we've seen they were sensitive to our concerns, not just trying to ramrod something we don't need down our throat. In short, they seemed more interested in the well being of our Newf than simply in emptying our wallet. They also didn't balk when I asked for a scrip for heartworm meds that I can get online cheaper than they offer; other vets have flat-out refused to risk their own bottom line. Overall, VERY good experience.

We have used this vet for about 10 years and would not consider changing. They have been outstanding.
