We had a water heater replacement done a few years back and recently discovered by an inspector that it was neither done to code nor was the permit pulled. When calling them, the office customer service became dishonest and evasive saying things like "the code changes all the time" and "we're a licensed company so we don't need permits." Now they are asking us to pay again to pull the permit and fix the code violation. Apparently the customer service cannot reach their boss/owner even after a week.

I would give them all A's.  I think the price is comparable to several others with this sort of leak.

Sunshine plumbing called back promptly and sent out Nate. He had to dig out sand from around our water meter to turn off the supply. Our water heater was an unusual size because of where it was located. Their office was able to procure a similar unit and Nate replaced the unit and added a shutoff valve. He did a beautiful job and was very professional and friendly

Johnny and Wesley worked quietly and efficiently. Diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the problem. They were easy to work with and explained everything - to more than one person - to our satisfaction. They were prompt in an emergency

Serviceman (NATE) ran 22 feet of line clearing cable through roof access/ vent to clear clogged kitchen sink. Work was done promptly and at a decent price (for a weekend trip) as compared to other service companies in town. NATE was easy to talk with, professional, and completed the work promptly. Would recommend Sunshine Plumbing and Gas again, for the every two year or so drain snaking we will no doubt need again saomeday.

Chris was great--we are very happy that he did the work today. He obviously knew what he was doing, was very polite, and he was careful as he moved around our house. This is the third time in a year that we've used Sunshine for various services, and we continue to be very satisfied with their work and the high quality of their employees.

I called Sunshine in total desperation. I needed a plumber- like yesterday!
We are doing a remodel of two bathrooms that involves replacing the tile tub and tile/marble shower with cultured marble.  It was our responsibility to have the drains set up to receive the cultured marble pans.  So, I had called a plumbing company that we had used several times in the past (ASAP) to come and take care of it.  They were scheduled to come out Monday morning and the pans were set up to be installed on Monday afternoon.
I had every reason to expect a pleasant experience, BUT the guy that ASAP plumbing sent was DRUNK! And the boss said he would come out to fix it, but he didn't!  I waited. And waited.  Meanwhile, the clock is ticking....
When I gave up on the ASAP boss, I called a couple of other plumbing companies.  The first said they were booked, but Sunshine was very pleasant and, although they were also busy, sent a guy right out to look at it.  Yay.  He was followed by a plumber named Johnny, who was cheerful, professional, capable and SOBER.  What a treat!
The price they charged was fair.  At that point they could have charged me a lot more, and I wouldn't have flinched.
I will surely use them again.

It went very well! Better water pressure and found ways to correct and change the faucet to make the water come out and did minimal damage to my tile that was hidden behind a Smitty plate. They found a better way to release the water without breaking down walls and my wall tiles. They saved me money of other repairs!

Upon installing a new refrigerator, the delivery person discovered that the threads on the valve controlling water to the ice maker were stripped and advised us that the valve had to be replaced. We called Sunshine Plumbing and Gas because we had had a great experience with their installing a new gas water heater for us just a few weeks ago. This experience with them was just a great. 



The plumber, Corey, was here within an hour and found that our valve installation had been somewhat jerry-rigged with several short pieces of copper angles soldered together. Nevertheless, he was able to skillfully remove the old valve in spite of the copper being somewhat difficult to get to, and to install a new valve. Corey was very courteous and worked efficiently and with a very clean job site. The job took only an hour and we were, again, very pleased with the service and the charges by Sunshine. 



Not only have we been impressed with the quality of the service personnel of Sunshine, but also with the knowledge and courtesy of the women, Breeane and Kelly, whom we reached with our initial calls. They really want to help customers.

First time working with Sunshine and, based on the quick service appointment that we received and the work that Jerry did, Sunshine is now our go-to plumber.
Installation of our new gas water heater was very challenging and complicated due to space limitations and location of old connections, but Jerry, obviously a very experienced plumber, figured everything out, and we are completely satisfied. Jerry's work is meticulous, with all plumbing neatly and carefully done and with extra-clean job site, plus Jerry was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained the new system as he went along, and we were especially impressed with his concern for safety with his checking and re-checking of all gas lines for a leak. We could see that he is a true professional who cares about doing the highest-quality work in an efficient manner, so we feel very lucky that we chose Sunshine for our new system and that Jerry performed the installation.

We had water back flowing through the drains in our showers.  This happened at 9 PM.  Called Sunshine and they had a tech out by 10pm and had us fixed by 10:30.

Unfortunately the technician scratched the faucet and attached the spray hose to the wrong end. The technician also chipped the tile around the faucet during the installation and it looks tacky.
Sunshine Plumbing agreed to relace the scratched faucet but that was 6 months ago. I have contacted them 3 times in the 6 months to try to get the faucet replaced - to no avail.
I had to call a different plumber to repair the damages.

On Saturday morning, both of our toilets would not flush and then the water in the showers did not work.  I called Sunshine Plumbing and I was told that someone would be out between 12-1pm.  I made the appointment but at the same time, I was concerned because my son had his first basketball game of the season at 1pm and he wanted me to be there. Victoria from Sunshine Plumbing was wonderful. She would text me periodically with updates on when the plumber would be at my house so that I could enjoy the game as much as possible. It worked out because his basketball game was over at 2pm and the plumber was at my house at 2:15pm.

Corey and his team were wonderful. He came out on Saturday and cleaned out the pipes with the snake but also recommended the sewer jetting to make sure that everything was cleaned out.  He was very professional.

A few days later, Corey came back to our house and conducted a sewer jetting to clean out the pipes. He also discovered that there were roots in the pipes and he cleaned it out.  Corey and Victoria were great. They explained everything that was going on and they were very professional. I would definitely use them again.

It appeared our main line needed to be snaked, so we called them out to take a look. The technician came over and by the time he got there the clog in the main line had apparently worked itself out. He was there for 2 minutes and his bosses still made him charge us $85 for flushing a toilet. I would reluctantly stomach that cost if their policy was calmly explained to me via a kind, thoughtful and customer service oriented response; however, the two company representatives I spoke to were impatient, combative, and short with me on my call. This was the second time I have used their service and each time the interactions with the plumbers have been excellent - the same cannot be said for the treatment I received from their customer service group and management. I will most certainly use one of the many other reputed companies in this area for plumbing work next time I have an issue.

This was a Saturday service and part of a multi-visit countertop installation (a different story) through Lowes. The original plumber that was seeing us was unavailable on Saturday so Lowes contacted a different company (Sunshine) that was available. Lowes confirmed the appointment and told me they would reach out to me directly to confirm details (they never called) and would assist with the disconnect and reconnect. It was obvious on arrival that they didn't want to be there and later could be heard complaining (not happy) while working. After they left, the kitchen and 2 bath sinks were found to be leaking. We were so dissatisfied that we had Lowes send back the original plumbing company to fix everything. On repair, it was found that the leaking pipes just weren't sealed or glued down enough.
