Southern Brothers did a wonderful, very professional job. They put in a patio, and a dog run (artificial grass) for us. The workmanship is excellent. They were on-time, responsible, a pleasure to work with. They are a little more expensive than most, but the quality is very good. My only issue is: make sure you get exact quotes for additional work after the initial bid.

This is the most pleasant to work with and professional landscaping team that I have ever had the pleasure of working with!! From start to finish, I was kept in the loop of what was going on. Even at the very end, the gentleman ensured the sprinkler system was aligned properly to irrigate the sod and flowers. Words truly cannot express how pleased I am with my new yard. Now, the only question I have is - what shall I have them do next??

Southern Brothers was great to work with. They redid our entire backyard after we put in a pool. They fixed our irrigation, re-sodded the backyard, and designed a tropical paradise. The pricing was very competitive compared to other companies in Gainesville who seem to nickel and dime you. Shannon was super responsive any time I had questions. We had a few changes while they were installing the plants and the crew was super friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend for any landscaping needs. We even hired them to do our monthly maintenance!

Worth every penny! I had major drainage issues in my yard, leading to damp interior walls when it rained and a large puddle by my front door. Southern Brothers Landscaping responded faster than any other company, and managed to squeeze my mess of a yard into their schedule in a shorter time span than it would've taken for other companies just to get me a quote. Work was of excellent quality and best of all, my house now stays dry inside when it rains!

The project was completed exactly as planned, on schedule and on budget. His staff is very professional and knowledgeable about every aspect of this project. Shannon stands behind his work and takes care of any issues that may arise. I have used him for other projects and have been extremely pleased. I also have him scheduled to do a smaller project next month. His company also does our yard maintenance and they do an outstanding job. Our yard definitely stands out - it has the “wow factor” we wanted.

Shannon and crew were on time, professional, and courteous. When I needed an upgrade to my sprinkler system, they did that job on the same day they put down the sod; they knew what to do and hustled to get it all done. Shannon made a special trip to help me reset the sprinkler program. Our new lawn and shrubs look great, four weeks after installation. Their pricing is reasonable given their excellent work.

Needed a small problem with the pavers by the pool fixed before it became a big problem. They came out gave an estimate, came back the next morning and got it done fast, and did it better than the people who put down the pavers in the first place. Great work.

The scope of this project was quite large, and Southern Brothers was able to accomplish all of this quickly and professionally. Shannon had great ideas for renovating our yard, and the finished product looks beautiful. It is everything we envisioned and more. His crew was excellent and they were responsive to any questions or concerns we had during the renovation process. From the estimate to current follow ups, we are completely happy with our new sod, the stunning blooming drift roses, and the beautiful layout of the other shrubs, the pine bark and adjustments to our irrigation system.
