Pop-A-Lock

I called. The phone was answered by a live person.  We made an appointment for an emergency visit.  He arrived a few minutes early.  After I told him exactly what I wanted, he made some money saving suggestions which cut the cost  down by at least 70%.

 Then he did the job using his well-equipped small truck.

I paid by credit card. 

The service was all solutions with no problems.

Basically went well except for a few details.  I was surprised to see two men arrive because the person I scheduled the service with on the phone made it sound like she personally would be coming to the house.  Not a big deal but it would have been nicer to not be surprised.  Also, when she estimated the costs on the phone, she only asked how many doors there were but the price is based on how many places there are for a key.  Since I have deadbolts on 3 of the doors the price increased quite a bit from the estimate.  I think it was still reasonable but, again, it would have been nicer to have had a more accurate estimate instead of being surprised.  Also, the installers spent a lot of time working on making my entry hardware "work the way they should have in the first place" but one of them still sticks just as badly as it did before.  Fortunately, they didn't charge by the hour!
All in all, however, the installers were personable and friendly, all of the keys worked and they were able to get the work scheduled immediately.  They also waived a trip charge because they were already going to be in my area.

It took them about 10-15 minutes longer than they initially said. The employee who came was very nice, but seemed new to the job and a bit inexperienced, continually noting that he'd have to call his boss about a question. One of my locks was apparently un-poppable, and he was working on another lock for about 10-15 minutes when I found a friend who had a spare key and opened the door. I was charged $20, which was reasonable since he did come out and try his best, but it didn't make me that excited to use the service again. I would if in a pinch but I'd probably try someone else first.

I saved $50 and a trip to the Nissan dealership by calling these guys. Nissan warned me that it would take about one and a half hours, so it was super convenient when Pop-A-Lock came to my house! And, yes, it did take almost two hours. I guess these new keyless remotes are VERY complicated to program. I was very happy to save time, money and not have to sit around in a waiting room!

My wife had a great experience with them. They really saved her when she was on her job. He went above and beyond the call and really helped her out. She was impressed with his professionalism and friendliness.
