The worst ever. Perry was the second company that I hired to reroof my house. The first company I had to fire for unacceptable work . House was left in underlayment only. I signed a contract with Perry that they will remove the existing roofing material and start from scratch. But they decided that the underlayment is ok and quickly put the shingles over the old stuff. Total material breach of contract And that is not all. The top portion they left completely flat knowing it is not in compliance with the building code and manufacturer specs but hoped that nobody finds out. I did and called the inspectors. They issued several code violations and when Perry finally corrected the issue they increased the invoice for over$4500. Also I found out later that incomplete permit was used as well no product approval for some of the materials used on the project. We are now in the middle of litigation. It's just not worth to hire Perry roofing.

GREAT START….POOR FOLLOW UP AND FINISH. My first impressions of Perry Roofing were great. I had some small leaks at my office and Kurt came out and patched them at no charge. My next project was an entire new roof on another house. I called them in May 2018 and their inspection was scheduled quickly and their initial proposal was reasonable. They were busy and said they couldn’t do the job for 3 months. They attempted to tarp the roof leak on two occasions so the summer rain would not do any more damage. Now, at the end of August 2018, one week before the scheduled start of the job, and they tell me their inspector missed the lack of decking needed for the job. They sent me a “Change Order” to their initial proposal that increased the price by 44% which was over $5,000 more on this job. I waited 3 months for this information. About a week later the job was completed (I assume). I didn’t receive any notice they had finished, just the bill in the mail. Their final invoice was even higher than quoted as they added another $1,367 for items not mentioned on any previous proposals or change orders. I went to look over their work and found the final product to be lacking the quality of workmanship that any reasonable person would expect. There is fascia missing and some of the flashing is a real hack job. And this is just a look from the ground. I can’t imagine what it looks like up there. I contacted Chris Livingston, my “Roof Consultant”, and informed him of the discrepancies and have not received a response yet almost 3 weeks later. I paid my bill timely and I can only assume this is representative of their “quality” of work. Choose your roofing contractor wisely. I have learned my lesson with Perry Roofing.

Said they would schedule a time to give an estimate but never called back.

Very well. They did just what they said they would do when they said they would do it.

First the good.  Tony Cousins was the sales person.  He was excellent at every level.  Tony went above and beyond to make the project acceptable. 
Perry roofing was punctual, completed the job (entire duplex) in two weeks.  I really can't comment on the quality of the re-roofing.  They offer a after job wind evaluation by a third party...it passed inspection.
The bad.  There was very little on the job supervision.  Roofers came and left on a daily without any communication.  The roofers took little effort to protect our landscaping, porch, and gutters.  Falling debris resulted in costly damage to all. Upon completion I had to get estimates to repair damages, spend my time overseeing repairs, and subtract cost from the final bill.

I appreciated their work a great deal. Replacing tiles on a roof is a learned skill and they did a great job. They were the only ones in Gainesville that would do it. They were very neat and tidy. They have been very honest since the job was very difficult.

I was a little nervous as the crew that worked on the house did not seem very friendly and a I got the feeling that only a few spoke English. The first day of work it started raining and I thought the crew would put tarps on the roof since it was "off" but they did not and I called the manager and he came out and talked to the crew. The crew basically lied and said it wasn't raining when they were working, but I was standing outside in the rain watching them work. Things seemed to go okay for the rest of the project until it was finished. The very first rain we had after the roof was finished there was a major leak that soaked a ceiling and down in interior and exterior wall. I was very upset. They sent someone immediately, but you could tell it was embarrassing. It rained several more times and the roof leaked two more times before finally a manager and one other worker came out and basically re-roofed a large section and basically painted what looked like tar over the section that they could not figure out why it was leaking. It was not a good experience. The roof would have looked beautiful, except for the section that you can clearly see has a large patch. After this experience I could not recommend Perry except that they had better availability and more crews than the smaller companies. I hope our experience was just an isolated experience. My husband is satisfied with the work that was finally done, but I did not like the experience.

The service went well. They were very professional and very tidy. They gave us lots of progress updates and project finished on time.

They were efficient, professional, and they were priced was mid ranged.

They went out to fix leak on my building, looked around for awhile and caulked the around the windows and roof. Charged $380 dollars. It rained a few weeks later and leaked just as bad as before, they came out again and caulked some more. They had no other solutions, Charged another $380 dollars. It rained 2 weeks later again and it leaked just as bad as it originally had. I had a few calls into the them for an explanation and they never called me back, didn't want to use them again anyway because they would have probably charged me another $380 dollars to caulk. Another company fixed it. The leak was in the footing where they never checked.

Perry Construction would not return my phone calls. On the fourth call of the third week and desperate messages to call me back they finally did. A week later I was provided with a quote that was nearly double other quotes I had received.

They were very good. I don't have any complaints with them at all. I would use them again in the future.

Badly

It went well. They do a good job, I think they are just a quality company as far as we're concerned. We would use them again.

I first contacted Perry Roofing to take care of my roof at the end of June. They actually made sure to get everything put together to present to my HOA at the July meeting in order to have my order approved by my HOA. I am currently living across the country, so any help like that was greatly appreciated. They worked with my realtor in order to schedule a date to start work. They had the work completed when they said they would and it looks pretty great. The cost was high, but I really feel it was worth it for the customer service and quality I received.

I didn't get any service. With my first initial call on Fri. 30th of July I spoke with one of their secretaries and left info. on what I needed done. Just before 5 oclock someone called back to schedule an appt. for next week. Ok no problem. I told them I would be out of town and back on Wednesday could they call me then to make the appt. they said yes. know one called. I waited Thursday still know one called. I'll be honest on Friday I figured they must not need the bussiness. On Monday I thought I would try again. What was I thinking? I called only to find out that the secretary who takes calls for residential was out of the office for the day. I could leave a message for her if I wanted to. Thanks but no thanks, I'm not going to beg for you to take my money or pled for you to fix my roof.

It did not go well. The repairs were not done as scheduled in October/November 2004. Perry had subcontracted and the team did not do the work. We discovered this in January 2005 after another roofer came to assess the condition of the roof, to see whether it needed replacing. Then we saw a pile of shingles hidden under a bush next to the house. We called Perry and they sent another team out to finish the repairs. I wish I had canceled with Perry and asked the second roofer to do the repairs instead. I did not pay Perry the full amount of the invoice, because there was internal damage to drywall caused by their failure to do the repairs, and they did not protest. Instead we paid them what the second roofer would have charged us.
