It went well. They were nice, on time, and convenient.

A dry cleaner who cares. No way, you say. And I'll say that there's probably only one dry cleaner in the world, yes the world, who cares about providing outstanding service at an affordable price. I know this because in all of my years (50 - okay some of the earlier years I probably wasn't a dry cleaner client), I have never found one. I found a couple that were tolerable, but nothing to write home about. This one is worth the drive even if you don't live close by.

Easy and painless.

No damage, stuff clean.

They are excellent. They use non-toxic chemicals, they use gloves and do your covers and they don't smell like the dry cleaning fluid and that's why I like them. The staff is wonderful. I dropped the comforter about seven months ago and forgot that they were there and they called me up and reminded me that they were there - that's how nice they are. And they do a beautiful job. They are pricey but they are worth it because they use the non-toxic stuff.

They did an excellent job with wonderful friendly professionalism. They are now by far the ONLY dry cleaning service I will deal with in Gainesville, as I have had very unsatisfactory experiences with every other dry cleaning firm in Gainesville. They will replace missing buttons at no extra cost, and will tighten loose buttons at no extra cost. They will fold and starch men's shirts to order, or hang them on wire hangers and no starch - whatever the customer prefers.

They work hard to ensure your clothing is actually CLEAN - rather than give it one basic attempt like most dry cleaners do.

They offer free pick-up and delivery service, and offer 3 convenient locations in Gainesville (Haile Plantation for the main location, and Millhopper Square, and a drop-off only site in Westgate Plaza).

They also offer a great customer referral program. You put your name on one of their business cards, and give it to friends. When the friend puts their name on the card and presents it with their dry-cleaning, BOTH of you get $10 off - the friend for that service, and you get a credit for $10 off your next service.

We've been using On The Spot since they opened in Haile Market Square and have always had most excellent service and results. Most recently, we had men's shirts done that were to be folded rather than hung. When I went to pick them up, they had been put on hangers. The CEO, John Hamilothoris, personally came to the front to apologize and assure me that they would be folded and ready for me by noon the next day (I had told him that there was no emergency rush) and, of course, they were ready as promised. John has on other occasions taken special care of a cleaning problem I've brought to him--one case in particular comes to mind where he worked w/old coffee stains on a stretchy white-and-black dress and managed to remove them and keep the integrity of the fabric perfectly. I'm all about the customer service, and he truly is, as his business card says, an "all around nice guy." So are the members of his staff. I also REALLY like that they are an eco-friendly dry cleaner.
