From beginning to end, Ron from O'steen Brothers was outstanding to work with.  He was professional, timely, explained the work clearly, and listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly as promised. The team he had working with him was outstanding as well. O'steen provided an excellent quality finished product. I had quotes that were lower in price, but I felt confident O'steen would be worth the extra money, and they were!

Their estimate was one the higher priced that we received. However, they were very professional and prompt.
Their work is a very high quality.

Excellent work! Ron O'Steen was the person in charge of the first visit and quotes, and he came out during the job to inspect and ensure everything was going properly. I modified the job slightly at the beginning (to widen the parking area and increase the amount of area to be paved) and it was readily handled at only a modest increase in cost.
The crew was great, and the site foreman kept us up to date as to plans and progress. We did have a 2-day delay in the middle of the project, but that was due to weather. The night after subgrade preparation and compaction, we had 2 inches of rain, which washed away several sections and made final compaction impossible until things dried out. Once things dried out, they were done in three days; one day each for subgrade repair and compaction, oiling and sealing, then finally paving.
The entire job took one week start to finish. The professionalism of the crew was outstanding. And there were extra things that they did that I would not have expected, including: having a road sweeper out to clean up the neighborhood street to remove excess dirt and debris; bringing in topsoil to dress the driveway edges; and a couple hours after I thought they were done and all the heavy equipment was gone, a water truck arrived to wash down the entire street in front of the house. .
Would recommend to anyone looking for a similar project.

They spent time with us evaluating options of materials and scope of work. They arranged for the identification of underground utilities lines. They communicated with us each step of the way and gave us lead time to communicate with neighbors before the trucks arrived. On the day of the work the people who designed the project came with the work crew and walked through what was to be done and included us in that work preview to be sure everyone knew the procedure, time frame, and interruption of traffic. When the work was done they improved the area around the work to return it to original slope or made alterations for water flow. On the way out they rolled the sand/clay road leading to our property to return it to the pre-work condition. One of the neighbors identified a place off the main road that suffered some damage and was missed in the exit work. They came back and fixed it and rolled the road again.

Everyone we dealt with at O'Steen Bros, from Ron O'Steen to the concrete people and pavers, was a top-notch professional. They showed up when they said they would, finished on time, went the extra mile and cleaned up the site afterward. Our circular driveway is at the bottom of a hill and had to to be built so that water will not flow from the cul-de-sac down the driveway. They also had to reshape the concrete pad to keep water from pooling in the corner against a retention wall and instead angle it so water will flow into a buried drainage pipe. It now works beautifully and looks beautiful too. Ron was on-site often every step of the way to make sure the work was done according to his and our specifications and we appreciated that very much.
