Initial application botched because of failure to read application directions and properly mix the product. Required it to be sanded and reapplied. On second application, reapplied without color chips available, so color chips applied unevenly across floor. Owner was very professional and paid for extra material and install mistake, but final job not perfect.

I called three different renovation companies to get an estimate on putting in a new door in a hallway entrance. Two of them never returned my phone calls. With all the new construction in my neighborhood, they probably felt they didn't need such a small job. This company responded very quickly and the estimate was very reasonable. The owner (John) came with his head carpenter and they took measurements to get the correct door size. The work was done by the head carpenter, Jesus (who does excellent work), another associate, and Jesus also brought his son since there was no school that day. The work was completed in about 3 hours, including the framing, painting, and adding on the handle (I provided the paint and new door handle). When it was finished, the door looked as if it had been part of the original building. They also cleaned up all debris and swept the front porch. This is the second time I have used this company and they really do a great job.

With them I had initial phone conversations that were a bit unprofessional. The individual sounded very young but I certainly had times that I gave them to call me and in my initial contact I gave them times that they would be able to come by the house. So when he called me I figured he would say, "Well I see you had us down for 3 different dates and times posted and we can have somebody out there at that time. Or if none of those work for us do you have another option?" But it was kind of like, "Oh well let me ask one of my guys right now." And he was there and he yelled over at the other guy about, "Do you know if you an go see Valerie?" At that point I'm thinking, "You don't know me and whenever I'm calling to you about doing work that's going to cost a lot of money you shouldn't be calling me by my first name." But aside from that they couldn't call me back and when they did call me back it was like there's some sort of an issue, the person that I was speaking with wasn't the one that was coming to the house and then they had to change the time again. The guy showed up, I don't know how old he was but he looked very young like he was maybe 20. So I was like age wouldn't matter to me if everything up to that point was done professionally. So whenever they couldn't get the phone calls returned then someone very young showed up I thought, "This was probably not a good option." He said he was the guy from the estimate and he was very unprofessional from the initial contact and the individual who showed up to the house was not the one who actually does the painting. He takes measurements and notes and takes them back to the guy to formulate the final estimate. So I'm thinking, "Why didn't you send out the dude who does the pricing to actually look at the property?" With that I don't understand. The bid they gave me was kind of inbetween but it did not include any priming.

Individual who came out to get estimate was timely and friendly.  Good communication through e-mail and phone up until day of start.  There was no mention from the company that I had to be present when work began.  When the crew arrived to begin work, the lead called me and wanted details of what he was supposed to do.  It seemed as though he had no idea where to begin which was a surprise to me since I explained everything in detail to the estimator.  All the work was also detailed in the estimate.  I asked the lead to call his boss to ask about the details which seemed to go OK.
Overall, the work was acceptable.  They did not replace some of the siding we agreed upon in the estimate, which was not disclosed to me fully.  I had to ask them.  They stated it was not replaced since the siding was not rotten.  Estimate is the estimate and I am sure that if any additional work was needed they would have charged me more.  Finally, they agreed to take some off the final price.  I guess it did leave negative thoughts from the entire experience that they were not forthcoming.
There were a few minor issues that I should have asked them to fix but didn't.  They did not replace the window trim in the same design as the rest of the house.  Also, I should have inspected their work a little more closely.  To be fair, the company did ask if everything was acceptable and I said yes.  There were a few pieces of siding that were not flush that I had to fix on my own.
The exterior painting and caulking was really good.  No complaints there.
Overall, I am glad the project is over and the previous wood rot is gone.  I could have done a better job myself with more attention to detail, but the wall was too high and required more than one person.  If you do choose this company, I would be present when they initially start the work to explain what should be done.  Also, please inspect the work closely after they are done and ask them to fix.

Overall, it worked very well. It took a little time to get them out to give an estimate and to get the project launched but they recommended that we paint the house with a semi-gloss, I guess, maybe even a gloss and I had painted it before with a flat, I was initially kind of concerned about that but I like the way that it looks, I think they did a very good job. After it was over, they came and did a walk through inspection and we noticed 1 or 2 things and they came back right away and attended to those so I would be happy to recommend them.

This seems like a very nice company and was one that I interviewed when we need some pressure washing and exterior painting done.  I am sure they would have done a very nice job and I don't doubt they have excellent employees.  However, I chose a different company.  I made my decision based on cost.  Natural Elements was higher.

Short and sweet. Called three local companies for quotes. Natural Elements was one of them. They had the best mix of quoted price and perceived competence. We chose Natural Elements and scheduled the work. It occurred on time and faster then projected. We were very pleased with the results and would certainly use them again.

I  live in a 2000 sq. foot house which was last painted in May, 2000, so it was time to repaint.    I got three estimates and Natural Elements was slightly lower than the other two.  The other factor I used to make my decision was the favorable impression I had of the person who came to make the estimate.  Among other things, he recommended using a satin finish rather than the flat paint I had on the house and was planning to use again.  The only problem I had with Natural Elements was that it took them awhile to come to the house, to get the estimate to me, and to get started on the project.  The main thing, of course, is quality of work, and I thought this was excellent.  Once they got started, they got the work done quickly.  The leader of the project came for a final inspection after he had completed the work and before I had paid for it, and I pointed out to him a minor area that I thought needed some attention.  He came out in a day or two and took care of it.  Conclusion: I am completely satisfied with the quality of work form Natural Elements, I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Requested a quote on a job that had been abandoned by another contractor. The quote was provided promptly and professionally.
There were a couple unexpected delays but the work was excellent and the company responsive.

The two guys who came to do the actual work showed up exactly on time. We were surprised, however, to see that they were not the same two guys with whom we had met originally to discuss the scope of work. We were a bit concerned since we did not know whether the two workers were completely familiar with all that needed to be done. To complicate matters, one worker did not speak English, and we were not able to communicate with him while his partner left to buy the paint needed. The work they performed was to patch up a hole in the wall that was created by the previous contractor who installed a new water heater. The two men did a nice job of repairing and painting the drywall and replacing the wood molding trim. They also caulked and painted several cracks around the garage door, and they installed a small panel door over an electrical panel. The paint match was perfect since the repainted section was not visible once the paint dried. When they finished their work, they did a nice job of cleaning up all their debris. Overall, we were completely satisfied with the work that was done, and our only comment is that in future jobs, the contractor should make it clear who will perform the actual labor.  We have some interior painting work that will need to be done in the fall and we will ask this company to bid on that job as well.

The owner was responsive about coming promptly to look at the potential job and sent his appraiser to give me an estimate. After suggestions for small changes to the estimate, the job was scheduled promptly. The manager in charge of the work called me about an estimated time when the repairs and painting would be done. The crew arrived as scheduled, made the repairs and pressure cleaned the house exterior one afternoon. The following day the crew camb back, covered and taped around all doors and windows, applied primer, had their lunch while it dried and returned to complete the painting that afternoon. The job was completed in one day and it looks first class.
