M R Plumbling

Installation went very well. They were very responsive and trustworthy. They were recommended to me by a close friend who worked for decades in home pool installation and had worked with a lot of plumbers in the area. When asked, my friend said that if he had to have plumbing work done on his house he would use M R Plumbing.

I called and spoke with a woman that I believe is the owner's wife. She quickly passed along the message and I was able to speak with the owner and set up an appointment for two days later. He would have made it the next day, but I was unavailable. On the morning of the appointment, the technician arrived later than I was told, so I was concerned that he would not be able to complete the service before I had to leave for work. However, he explained that because my unit was outside, he could finish after I left and just send me a bill. I was OK with that. I noticed the technician was on his cell phone in the side yard for a bit while cleaning the system, but I don't know if it was a personal or business call. From the muffled sound I heard through my window, I'm guessing personal. Anyway, that was the reason for the "B" in professionalism. I think the job could have been finished a little faster with no phone interruptions. But, the owner and his wife were professional and courteous so I don't want to let one technician's phone call sour their grade. I got the bill a week after the service was completed, and it was $20 less than estimated, so that made me happy. The bill and envelope it came in appeared to be filled out with a typewriter, which gave me a smile too. I will call this company again next year when I need my unit serviced!

Water heater went out while I was out of town and away from computer and my family was still home. I called the HVAC guy who I found on Angie's list and did my AC swap out and did a great job. I still had his phone number in my phone, he recommended M R Plumbing and said that's who he would call. M R Plumbing owner talked to me. Said he would have his guys swap out my water heater just after lunch time. They did it, good work, fair price, prompt and professional.

We've known them for a long time. They were the plumber that plumbed our house when we built it. Our daughter knew their son. We were very pleased with everything. They are a small company. They are always courteous and got back to me in a reasonable amount of time if I had a question. I didn't have to wait a long time. We didn't compare prices. They do work on their own timeframe.
