LYNN PAINTING CO

The paint looked fine when the job was completed. However, beginning in January 2009, I started to see paint flaking, but I thought it was just one particular area. In the meantime, I was caring for a disabled child and unable to pursue. Now that my child is healed, I looked around my house and see paint peeling on all the trim work. I've had several contractors/painters give me estimates. First, they all agreed that the paint should not have failed had it been applied correctly in this short time period. Because of the failure and lack of caulking around the windows, I am having to have extensive wood repairs, including new trim around 14 windows. Also, the sidig was never caulked. Now, I not only have to have my house repainted (trim $2050; siding $1350), but I have extensive wood repair costs of $940. I paid Mr. Lynn $4512 on February 17, 2007. One would not expect to have to have their whole house repainted and extensive damages when having paid for a complete painting job just 5 years ago. I have pictures showing paint peeling to the bare wood and window trim crumbling. I called Mr. Lynn and he came over to look at the peeling paint and amage on January 13, 2012. He took notes and promised to give me a proposal for a refund, but I have heard nothing. I have called him several times and left messages telling him I was waiting for a partial refund. He has not returned any calls.
