DO NOT HIRE. He convinced our elderly mother to pay for a kitchen and bath job 100% upfront. After an 8 month period of terrible communication and an abandoned job, we are finally taking him to small claims court. We gave him multiple reasonable options to complete the task and salvage our expenses but we were completely ignored. We are having to hire and pay another company to finish the job. Read Angela T.'s review from 4/26/19 ([*** Link removed ***] it sums up our experience- exactly-with Todd. NO NOT HIRE.

In the beginning, we were happy with the service, but as the project went on we started to have more and more issues. They would turn up late, they tried to install a cabinet that was clearly damaged (which they eventually replaced) they damaged items during install (the entire interior of the sink base has huge gouges in it, which they insisted was "normal" and just a part of installing granite - totally not the case, as Lowe's did my in-law's kitchen and it was flawless) They also broke the granite in two places and glued it back together. They claimed that it was "natural fissures" in the stone, but those areas are now green - note, my granite is light golds with brown/ cranberry spots. Sadly, that is not the worse part of my experience. About 2 years after our kitchen was installed, we started to notice a crack along the front of the sink. It has now opened a huge gap that is actually loose. I will now have to replace my counter tops, costing me several thousand dollars and more of my time. Do NOT use these people, they have NO IDEA what they are doing.

The owner came out on time for the appointment to give me a quote. He was very professional, made notes of our conversation, listened to what I wanted for the remodel and made suggestions that were of great value. This was a complete remodel. All cabinets were removed including the sink but the plumbing lines remained including the appliances. This was an easier job since the cabinets were just being replaced without altering the kitchen footprint. There was enough left over granite to put a back splash behind the stove and make a ledge in front of the sink. I bought a microwave that was installed over the stove and the electrical and plumbing companies work was coordinated by the vendor. This was good to not have to set up times with them as I also have used these companies in the past so I knew who they were. Some take away items I would encourage for anyone using this company. 1-Get a written end date in the SOW. This job took longer than it should have as they only had one person doing the job. I'm not sure of the demo as it was done cleanly but the work to install took longer than it should have for the size of the kitchen. Be prepared for delays if there is a 2nd party in dealing with the counter top. I choose the top but there seemed to be an issue and the cabinet maker said the were waiting on the company to deliver and install the top after the cabinets were installed. 2-Quality of work was only as good for the interior of the cabinets because I inspected them after they were installed. I believe it would have been left with gaps where the back and side cabinets met had I not spoken up about them. The owner said that was typical and I disagreed. I've never seen gaps in any cabinets regardless of the quality (ie real wood, laminate). This was fixed prior to my final sign off. 3-Who ever pushed the stove back in place between the cabinets after the granite was installed clearly could see the stove didn't fit but continued to push it in place and damaged the sides (porcelain). They had to sand (not sure if that is the correct term) the granite in order to get the stove to fit and have clearance and then put something on the side of the stove (porcelain repair/paint?) to cover up the damage. I paid 1/3 of the full price and then another 1/3 mid-way. The final was paid after my inspection and sign off. Overall I was very pleased with the work.
