It breaks my heart to write this. We have used Liberty Air for 10yrs for both our business and home air units. They have always been without issue. I called them out about 4 or 5 days ago and they said he didn't know why it wasn't working but he said there was water in the pan, so the drains maybe needed cleaned. Well, $500 later, it just isn't working. So I call them out again. The second guy catches it within a min literally of being there. He said both our units had hair clogged in both and they really needed done. Well that'll be an additional $900. I was extremely upset. I didn't have the first $500 more less an additional $900. The only thing they offered was not to charge the service fee to come out that second time. I am furious. We have been VERY loyal and we are honest people. I wasn't expecting free $900 worth of work, however to not even admit fault or offer any discount for the work they should've done and caught day 1 day one is unacceptable. I am a small business and when we are in the wrong we make it right. Do not trust these people.

Fine initially. But. Right after the five year warranty expired a motor blew. Neither Liberty nor Trane would assist with even a pittance of a new part nor installation. I tried. The new hvac company tried. No go. Turns something does stop a Trane. It is called five years and poor customer service.

Wow! So impressed with LIBERTYAIR! Our system (installed by another company) is now working so well after repairs that our energy bills have plummeted! And no more worries about a failed system when our clients need it to be performing at peak capacity. We built our events facility four years ago and immediately began having serious problems with our air-conditioning system. But the original A/C contractor sold his business and the new owner refused to correct the problems. We began calling on another contractor to make the wildly expensive repairs that were frequently needed, and even added a costly additional unit to boost cooling in the high-ceilinged building. But we still had so many problems (flooded upstairs A/C room due to improperly draining pipes, system failures, spontaneous flipping from cooling to heating on summer days) we were spending a fortune on A/C repairs and lived in fear that the system would fail during an event and our clients would suffer because the building would become swelteringly hot, with no way to repair it quickly We even began to wonder if the new company was purposely sabotaging the system so that we’d have to continue doing expensive work that should have been warrantied by the original installer. But we were stuck! What could we do? Finally, a friend we trust recommended LIBERTYAIR. What a difference! The owner listened to our explanation of our problems and sent a pair of technicians to check it out. They immediately identified problems in the original design of the system. They recommended changes and began the work. They finished quickly and the system began functioning with far more cooling power and with total reliability. If only we’d found them sooner! Now, I can provide my services to my clients with confidence, knowing an air emergency won’t spoil their fun. In fact, I can make my events venue as chilly as a meat locker, if that’s what my clients want — far better than what my competition can do. And I’m spending far less on energy costs. The installation went great. However, the financial end of it did not turn out well. The quote we received indicated that we would be able to pay on the AC system over a period of 60 months, interest free, through a local credit union. When we contacted the credit union, they said they didn't offer that, only 6 months no interest financing. The paperwork clearly said 60 months. Their financing practices are dubious to say the least.

It was a little tricky. One person came that day and thought he fixed it but the heater stopped again that night. They sent another person immediately after I called and he fixed it. They didn't charge me since it had a 90 day guarantee. In both cases the workmen were prompt friendly and professional. I have a Trane heater and although good I've had several problems with them. Glad he figured it out..It was chilly (outside) last night!

A/C went out Sunday night. Called first thing Monday and had a service man, Frank, arrive that afternoon. A/C was still under parts warranty but not labor. Frank diagnosed and replaced the part in about 30 minutes. Once replaced, Frank stood by to check on the A/C function. A/C hadn't been properly serviced in a long time. Frank signed me up for a service call for later in the week. Frank was friendly and professional. No high pressure sales tactics. Paid about $142 for call out and pre-paid $193 for the unit service call. A/C Service Man, Trae-von, arrived on time as scheduled. He called ahead when he was about 15 minutes out which was nice, so i could get my dogs secured. He explained what he was going to do and worked for about an hour checking and cleaning out my compressor and air handler. Very professional and polite.

Awesome. Issue started at like 9pm and I was preparing the family for a pretty miserable night. Liberty took the call, the operator was very honest about the odds of getting someone out that evening but said she'd do what she could. I got a call back an hour later that a tech would come by on their last call of the night. I was thrilled, but also realizing that this visit was probably going to be a "yeah, here's your issue, we can fix it in the next couple of days". The tech got to my house pretty much after their hours (11pm), which I felt bad about - guy was probably dog tired working in the dark at midnight. Didn't complain once, was super friendly. Diagnosed the issue and just happened to have the exact part needed in the truck. AC was working again by midnight and the cost was very appropriate. Great experience A to Z.

While I was out of town on a fishing trip with some friends, my wife calls and says the A/C unit quit working. I decided to call Liberty Air Conditioning and Heating, because I only hear great things about them. Within minutes they had a truck at my door, and fixed the unit right away. They were very professional, organized and the price was excellent. My wife and I highly recommend Liberty Air!

System was still under warrantee for parts. Liberty Air charged me $1595 for this coil replacement. On warrantee! $648 for labor which took 2 hours. The also charged me $50 for warrantee paperwork and $ 34 for shipping of the part. Liberty Air has installed two systems for me and has done excellent work including this repair. I just feel the cost of this repair was way high.

Highly recommend. Liberty was punctual, answered all of my questions and even had the service manager call me back (I ask a lot of questions). This was important as I live in a different town and only my 18 year old son was at the condo. Jaime was able to walk me through everything that was wrong, answer my annoying questions, and make me feel comfortable that I was getting the right repair done. Their service tech should up but could not complete the job based on the difficulty of the location. Rather than having me wait until Monday (this was late Friday), Jaime the service manager, came out himself and completed the job - working until 8:30 pm. I would highly recommend their services. Libetry went above and beyond to assist a customer. These guys (and girls) are great!

I called Liberty Air around 2 p.m.. They said they would dispatch someone between 4 and 6 p.m. Harry arrived promptly at 4. It turned out to be minor. The thermostat needed new batteries. Harry checked the a/c and found no other problems. I signed up for a twice yearly service check for the a/c and furnace. I am not good about having these things checked, and this will keep me on track. Harry was very professional and nice. I would definitely recommend and use Liberty Air again.

I overpaid for the maintenance. I have had maintenance done with another company before and the person that came out did about double the work for the same price. He performed things such as cleaning the indoor coils and outdoor unit and of course checking all of the connections and other technical aspects, while liberty air only checked the technical aspects. I also had them change out the Capacitor since it was getting old. The capacitor although 15 dollars online and in big box stores cost me $150 through Liberty air, they also decided to replace one dual capacitor with two individual capacitors which makes sense since now there are two capacitors doing the work of one, meaning less failure, but what I didn't like was that the second capacitor was attached with a zip tie where the original one was attached with a metal strap. I didn't think about it then but I don't like the idea of a zip tie holding up an important part of my air conditioner. I decided to call today to see if they can come out to reattach it with a metal strap but they said that it was ok like that and that is common practice to use zip ties. I really don't like the fact that I paid 1000% more for ok work. I expected excellent work. P.S. I wish I would have gone with my original maintenance company, Ray French AC & Heating Inc.

Thank you for allowing the owner to explain about the zip ties. The zip ties are common practice in today's residential hvac standards. They do not rust but the older practice of metal straps often do. Therefore, LIBERTYAIR prefers to use zip ties which benefits the customer and has no drawbacks. LIBERTYAIR's prices are competitive with its local market. We advise you to beware of extremely low priced contractors, offering 1000% lower prices. You often will receive a low quality for such low prices."
