Terrible experience. Left nails all over property and I got a flat tire. They had to come back multiple times to fix shoddy installation and would not return calls. Avoid at all costs.

They were fantastic. Hard working crew and they kept everything clean. The start date was moved up to avoid bad whether and it did just that.

This review is complicated. First, as a reroofing project, the roofing was done to acceptable quality standards at a good price. Work was done fast and efficient. Caveats: I chose Kayco, because I needed the fascia and MDF trim on my chimney replaced as well, and Kayco agreed to do all of this at one time, significantly reducing coordination problems, and the overall cost. I am an engineer, and was present for the entire install, so I am probably much more critical than most customers. This job was much more complicated than a simple reroof project. As stated previously, the shingle roof was done well, not prefect but certainly well done. The other parts of the project had complications. Although the (extensive, explicit) contract I provided specified the gutters were to be reused, it was clear that they were not intending to preserve the gutters at all. The rotting MDF fascia was replaced with Hardieboard, a very hard material to work with. Still, the carpentry standard was less than I had hoped for. There were a several places where I had to rework the aluminum soffit, which was not reinstalled properly, although there may have been issues with the original installation. A few sections were left dented and bent. The workers tried to hurray on the chimney, and Hardieboard on the chimney was not fitted very well, large gaps filled with rough caulking. I had a sun tunnel installed that seemed to me to not be fitted and supported as well as I had hoped, although I realize it was hard installation and I am happy with the result. My textured concrete driveway ended up with a new crack, although I feel Kayco did their best to prevent this. In summary, I think the roof was done well, the carpentry and sun tunnel not as well as I had hoped, but the price was good and I feel the people did their best to satisfy a fussy old man while doing a complicated project. I would use them again.
