JOYCE GAINEY CLEANING SERVICE

Joyce Gainey has recently gone up on her price a little bit and it is making us think twice about using her again.  We haven’t had a change in the cleaning people yet.  She just went up from $85 to $90 and that’s usually based on every two-week’s service.  When we had her at every week interval, she was charging us $75.  However, that is just because when one comes in every week there is not quite as much to do every time.  So we will have to see if we want to keep her.  Her service is fine.  She and her staff do a good job.  We had one instance, where they were using their vacuum cleaner and they made a pretty substantial scratch on the wood floor.  They offered to have it fixed and I called them about it.  She said that she had meant to call me about it because she knew that it was there.  However, I got to her first so I don’t think that she was going to call in the first place.  I think that I got to her before she remembered to get to me.  We plan to use her again.

Joyce's team were quick, efficient and thorough.  They arrived a little behind schedule, but once they got down to business the whole house was clean in 1.5 hours.  We plan on having them clean the house weekly

Overall, the experience is okay. Once, someone left the tub water running, on warm, after they left and I didn't get home until after 8:30. And then after that, they upped my rate. It went up to 70$ every other week from now on. The house cleaning is satisfactory, but I still plan on using them in the future.

They are very thorough. They do a fair amount of cleaning, including making beds, dusting and laundry. They will do anything you leave for them to do at this price. It was a little more than we were hoping to spend but they do a good job. They bring 2 or 3 people in and get it done. You do not have to be there with them. They come when they are supposed to. It works out pretty well.

After reading all the great reviews about Joyce's Cleaning Service, I decided to give her a try. On the morning of the scheduled cleaning, Joyce showed up with 2 other people. She had informed me ahead of time, that a man (her son, I think) would be joining her, to "clean all the high up places" - no problem for me: Anyone that wants to clean places I can't easily reach in my house is welcome ;-) After showing them my house, one went off into the master bath, one into the secondary bath, and Joyce got started on the kitchen. About an hour into the cleaning, I had to leave the house to run some errands. When I returned a few hours later, I walked into a spotless, clean house. The bathrooms hadn't been as sparkly since we moved into the house. The house had been vacuumed, the floors wiped, furniture dusted, the windowsills and most windows cleaned, even my plantation shutters had been dusted and wiped down. Oh, and did I mention my baseboards? And the kitchen sparkled, including the teapot on the stove. I was really impressed with Joyce and her team, and will certainly call her again real soon.

I have been struggling with an illness for a long period of time and my husband recently had shoulder surgery so the housecleaning hadn't been up to our standards and I asked for a good cleaning for my birthday :) Joyce and a team of 2 others showed up and cleaned for about 2 hours. They each split up and took a part of the house and got right to work. They were friendly and professional. The house looked and smelled great after they left - absolutely no complaints! We will definitely be calling them again!

I called Sunday morning in a rush. I needed my apartment cleaned the same day so I could move out of state the next day. Joyce and her helper arrived later that afternoon and worked non-stop until everything was clean. Inside cabinets, ceiling fans, sinks, corners, drawers and blinds all the little things that can be easily forgotten were clean. I was so happy to have such good work done in such short notice. On a side note, I called 5 different cleaning companies Saturday and Sunday. All the other cleaning companies called me back after Joyce had already made my apartment spotless. Thank you Joyce Gainey cleaning service for being the most stress-free part of my move.

I am so pleased. Really. She and her crew, if they can tolerate me, will hopefully clean my house 2x a month from now till eternity.
