Anthony Dobosiewicz,  their ISA Certified Arborist, walked the lot with us. After we pointed our what we wanted done he made suggestionswhich we felt where pertinent to our situation. He gave us a written work order which we approved. 
His crew showed up 2 days latter, as scheduled, and performed the work as described. His entire crew were very professional in the
way they dealt with 
each other and performed their tasks. I was very please to have one of the crew always ready to point out what they were doing and 
were available to answer any questions that my wife or I might have during the time the work was being done. 
At the end of the day all the work was completed and very nicely cleaned up. We were very pleased.
This was our second direct contact with Gator Tree Service. Both times deserved an EXXCELLENT rating.

The tree removal went flawlessly and the site was cleared and cleaned up beyond my expectations.

Arrived on appointment date on time. Removed the tree in 4 hours. Tree was mulched on site and a thorough clean up of all materials was made. Excellent job by all the workers. They were very polite and answered all questions. Anthony, as a certified arborist provided a very professional explanation of the diseased tree. He did not suggest that other trees be removed. He immediately sent a licensed materials to cover all liabilities and insurance. Very thorough and professional service.

Very professional, prompt with  throrough clean up,  A crane was used to lower the trees. Boards were placed over the grass to minimize damage to the lawn.  Impressive and reasonable.

Everything went fine...it took about 4 hours and I was continually asked for details about what I wanted done.  There was a crew of 7 and the Gator Tree Service's owner was present throughout.

Very professional and completed all work agreed upon. Very helpful when given the estimated before the work was performed.

All work was performed as promised and remains/debris was cleaned up.

Anthony and his crew did an excellent job.  The crew are very polite and clean cut guys.  They were very professional and cleaned up the area well after the job was done.  They have done work for me in the past and I would not hesitate to use their services again.

I was very pleased with their work.  They put down plywood so that my grass wouldn't get ruined by the bucket truck driving on it.  You can't even tell they were on it.  The workers were all very nice and careful.  My neighbor and I enjoyed watching the process.
I would definitely hire them again, when needed. 

Of the quotes I got, Gator Tree was the most affordable. I also liked that they'd done work in my neighborhood before, and the owner (Anthony) had a good reputation.
I needed to have a HUGE, old laurel oak removed, which was becoming unsafe, and have the stump grinded to make room for a patio. There were also a few small trees causing problems (one was in the way of the fence I wanted to install, and two others were very close to the house) that I wanted taken out.
Anthony was easy to work with, and he walked me through what the job would entail as he was working up the quote. He's a certified arborist, and seems to really care about tree health; and he was happy to answer any questions I had about the condition of trees around my house, and about the city's rules about tree removal and replacement (Gainesville is pretty serious about protecting its tree canopy, and the rules are not trivial).
After I decided to go with Gator Tree, the process was very smooth. Within about a week, a crew showed up with a lot of heavy equipment and got to work. Removing the big oak was tricky, and they took their time to make sure it was removed safely. They took out the other trees without any problems, and were careful to clean up the site completely. They ground up the stumps, but couldn't get all of the laurel oak stump due to a gas line near the house. After I got GRU to mark the gas line, Anthony came back within a few days and (at no extra cost, and after hours) took out the rest of the stump. He even helped me out by grinding the stumps of a few large bushes that were in the path of a fence that I wanted to install, and didn't charge any extra to do the work. Just a handshake and a smile.
Overall, Gator Tree was outstanding! Good on price, great on quality and service. I would definitely use these guys again, and would recommend them to anyone!!

Called Gator Tree Service and Anthony responded within a day.  He gave a quote for work to be done--very reasonable.  Anthony brought the crew and did the work within two days of calling the service.  They actually trimmed more of our trees than were agreed upon at no extra cost.  Anthony and his crew were all very professional and courteous. Would highly recommend Gator Tree Service for your tree service needs.

They have always been an excellent company to work with.

Anthony isvery responsive and knowledgeable (Certified Arborist).  He has the right equipment, a good crew, and takes measures to protect your yard (if heavy equipment must be moved through your yard).  He cleaned up the debris, and the cuts healed well (arborists know how to cut and prune without damaging the tree).

We had to have them come back out and that did take a long time.  They did do a good job with what they did.

It was an excellent experience.  Anthony is a very pleasant, friendly, and professional person on first impression.  He provided proper paperwork with regards to proof of insurance.  After deciding to go with his company, I called him that evening and the next day he scheduled my lot for the job.  It took all day, as it was about 11 trees that were removed and pruning of two of our large oaks.  We were thrilled with the job he did.  The trees were all removed without incident, and we were glad to follow all of his recommendations even though we were hesistant at first about removing the big laurel oak in the front; however, it was the right decision because two of our other oaks can grow more freely.  What really impressed me was the clean up.  After the project had been done, I couldn't tell that anyone had been there to remove a bunch of trees.  During the clean up Anthony and his team went the extra mile, making sure everything looked like it had been before the trees were removed, and he even got someone to go on my roof to clean  any leaves or debris which is not an easy task.  It was a wonderful and professional experience, and for future projects Anthony will be the first one I call.  We got six quotes, and although Gator Tree Service was not the cheapest I don't see how anyone could have done a better job than them.

When I talked with him the next day, he arrived on time and spent an hour talking to me about our trees.  Everything went well with the tree removal.  Anthony and his crew asked me a couple of times if there was anything that they needed to do and wanted to make sure that I was pleased with their work.  Anthony recommended some trees that would work well in the area where we had the injured/disease trees removed and that wouldn't compete with the trees remaining in the area.  He also gave me the name of a nursery that sold some of the trees that weren't carried by the box stores or some of the nurseries in town.  I appreciated the information.

They did very well and they showed up on time. They were a nice little professional crew and it didn't strike me as being a huge company but they did a great job. It was important to me because I have a fair amount of knowledge in terms of arbor culture. I appreciate that actually he's a little more towards learning to live with your trees and not cut everything down. I've interviewed several companies around here and not even one of them was certainly like that. There were a few companies that said I needed to take a tree out and so on and so forth. Gator was great and I was very pleased with him. It is nice to know there is an arborist who's like not trying to knock every tree down. Most arborist's are pretty good about that but its tree companies that don't employ an arborist. We are going to have them back out to do some more work for us. They are an excellent company. Their price was very competitive and the crew did a neat job. On my property, clean up is not so important because it's a big five acre property. I would imagine that in a neighborhood, where you would want them to not rip everything up so they were careful about it. They were on time and they returned calls right away. They were there when they said they were going to be there. Even the crew members were real good and they were great guys. They were all very professional. I just have a little bit of plant knowledge and I just don't like to be sold.

Anthony, Paul, and friends removed a large red oak from between two houses. Because of the tree's location, it was a difficult and tedious job, one requiring both skill and caution. They did an excellent job. They were professional, courteous, and obvously highly skilled -- and their price was the lowest of the 7 extimates I got. I was very, very pleased with their work.

Owner is responsible, knowledgeable and pragmatic. Entire crew were safety conscious and courteous.

The crew was very polite and they were considerate of my shrubs and flowerbeds. They cleaned up and left me a stack of cut wood for the fireplace. My neighbor had hired them the week before and their work on his yard was so good that I hired them to do my trees. Prices are very competitive.
