Great. Team was safe, professional, courteous and cleaned up behind themselves.

Everything went smoothly and they were able to finish the job over the course of two days. It was fascinating to watch a climber and a boom truck remove the huge pine tree while missing two sheds and the house. The owner himself, Anthony, ground the stumps of two large oak trees that endangered the front of the house. They also raised the canopy and removed several large limbs that hung over the house. Each day, the debris was collected and carted away. All in all, an excellent job.

All work went smoothly. The crew showed up early and everyone seemed to have a job to do and went right to it. Took around three to four hours. Was very pleased with the work done, and the cost. Highly recommended.

It went wonderfully! I was told that would be starting the project at 2pm and by 5:45pm they were finished and picking up the last little bit of debris.

Anthony and his crew are always professional, punctual and ALWAYS do what is best for the tree. Highly recommend!

Anthony came over one evening after work and scheduled work for the very next day. He is very knowledgable and made some very good recommendations for our property. The whole crew was professional and helpful. They even offered us the ground tree parts for ground cover if we wanted it, which I took and will be great cover especially around the remaining trees. It is so refreshing to deal with a company like Gator Tree Service and Anthony, I would highly recommend them and would hire them again anytime.

I would Recommend Anthony to everyone. He is extremely knowledgeable, I would say he is an expert in his field. When he came to my house to give me an estimate he took his time and explained everything that needed to be trimmed Or taken down. I can say he loves trees and he will not take down anything that does not need to be taken down. In other words he won't rip you off. He's such a sweet man he will even listen to your woes. LOL!

I had another tree service give me an estimate and he wanted $50 more just for one tree and said it would be an all day job and worth every penny. Gator Tree Service had it down in one hour. Plus did ten times more work.

His crew is really awesome too. They are very respectable and polite. One of them told me he accidentally bumped my mail box. It was old and ugly. He told me if I wanted to get a knew one he would put it back on the post for me. So I went to Walmart and bought one. He put it together and back on the post. I told him he did a huge favor by bumping it. :-)


I have not been in the mood to do any yard work until the trees came out and my yard looks so much better. The next day I mowed and raked leaves. It felt good to just do that much. Today I am going to Lowe's to get flowers, mulch and my Pygmy Date Palms that Anthony recommended because I love palms.

So in a nutshell, if you need tree work done, call Gator Tree Service! They are the BEST!

I got the owner Mr. Anthony's number from my neighbors, who strongly recommended him to me after having their tree cut by Gator Tree Service about two weeks ago. I called and Mr.Anthony came to my house the next morning and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Yesterday, they started the service for my houses. They came on time, operated very professionally and politely, and even performed some extra tree trimming services and cleaned my houses' roof and gutters.  They also patched up one of my house's roof when they saw that a shingle was missing. All this extra work was completed without any fees. I was very impressed with Gator Tree Service's great work attitude and extra effort in helping customers. I would like to thank Mr. Anthony, his son Alex, and all crew numbers for their wonderful job and I definitely recommend Gator Tree Service to anyone who needs tree services!

Anthony and his crew showed up on time and did all the services previously agreed on, to spec. They were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and I would certainly use them again. One note: upon arrival one of their larger vehicles accidentally bumped into my neighbor's mailbox, and Anthony came back within the week to replace the mailbox.

Anthony and his team provide professional and efficient service.  They have great equipment to get the job done right at a great price.  This my second time to use Gator Tree Service.  Both times were pleasant experiences.  I highly recommend them.

Being fairly new to Gainesville, we had never used a tree service previously.  We felt that Gator Tree service was excellent. Everyone associated with the company was extremely friendly.  Before contracting, we got 3 quotes, and Gator was in the middle. We felt that given potential liability issues, and lack of proven experience of the lowest quote, as well as the complexity of cutting and removing downed trees from our property, we would go with Gator.  Quite happy we did.  We would use them again.

Anthony and the Gator Tree Service Team did a great job.  They showed up on time and were neat and organized.  They did more work than I had anticipated and left the yard tidy when they were done.  I only gave them a "B" in punctuality due to them having to reschedule two times (in the same week).  The first was as a result of an emergency at a client's home (a fallen tree) and the second was as a result of a job which took longer than anticipated to finish (that customer added additional work as the job was in progress).  I understand their situation (and Anthony was good about communicating with me) and I have been told by a few people that this is the nature of the tree business, but when planning my schedule, it was a bit of a pain.  That said, It really would be an A- or B+ given the great job they did.  I would use them again and have already recommended them to some other people.  Straight A's for all other categories.

I called to get an estimate on taking down my 65' sycamore tree.  Anthony called back the next day with a $350 estimate.  I knew that was a great price and asked when he could do it.  He and his crew came out the very same day.  They did a great job -- quick and professional.  Anthony came back to grind the stump, which was included in the price.  He is also very knowledgeable about all types of trees and can provide advice.  I will use Gator Tree Service again.

The water oak was in the front yard close to the front of the house.  It leaned toward the street.  He gave me the estimate and although I'd like to have had a lower price, I also wanted a reputable tree service that was insured and had workers comp on all the people working on the job.  Therefore, I told Anthony to come take down the tree.  He told me they'd be out the next afternoon. 
They came about 3 the following day.  In order to minimize the damage to the lawn, they decided the best way to do it was to take down the entire tree with one cut. The tree was so tall  that the top of it ended up in the street.  Part of the crew with machinery was cutting up the part of the tree in the street so that it wouldn't block traffic as well as another part of the crew slicing up the truck of the tree in the yard, putting truck sections on a dolly and rolling it to the street where their machinery picked it up and put it on the truck to haul off.  There were only a couple of places very small places where the sod was disturbed which was easily corrected simply by patting it back down in place.  They did a good job of cleaning up the debris once the job was over. 
 
Anthony is the one who grinds the stumps and he told me he'd be back to grind it up.  He arrived the next afternoon and ground up the stump.  Since the tree that was taken out right up against another tree, he was careful not to cut the roots of the adjacent tree. 
We were pleased with the job they did as well as their professionalism.  As I walked across the yard, one of the crew members thanked me for our business which is not something you often hear from a worker.
