She met my neighbors and they complimented me on how consistent her visits were and how she picked up after the dogs.  We've had Julie care for our dogs often over the last two years and would never consider using someone else.  Her communication with us is excellent.  She emails often with photos and updates.  She's had to give medicine, make extra visits, clean up messes, and make last minute schedule changes.  Unlike other services, I know it's just Julie that's making the visits.  I know I can trust her to take care of my pets and my home while I'm away.  Once while we were away, there was a bad storm that upset the dogs.  She made an extra visit, stayed with them in the house for awhile, and called to ask me if there was anything more I would like for her to do.  This was during the busiest time of the year for her, so I really appreciate d her commitment.  I'll always worry when I'm away, but Julie's passion for animals and her professional manner makes it much easier to be away.

Julie is amazing. A truly wonderful pet sitter. She took great care of my cats while I was away. One of my girls has a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia. The other is just a little shy girl. Julie texted me every day with an update about how they were doing. I was so happy to be able to visit with my family in Minnesota while knowing that my girls were well cared for. Those daily updates took all the stress out of leaving my babies.
Julie also (after confirming with me) put my garbage and recycling out. I did not expect that and was impressed she took the initiative to do it. And she made sure the two outside stray cats that I had been feeding were well fed while I was away. If you feel, as I did, that leaving your little critters makes you stressed out, then Julie is the person to relieve that stress. Seriously she will take wonderful care of your pets.

It always goes wonderfully well.  Outstanding, professional, reliable, does so much more than just fed the pets and leave.  Always stays and spends time with the animals.  Very compassionate and caring.  Also, very attune to physical needs and/or issues.  I would recommend without reservation.

I have 5 high drive agility competition dogs, 2 cats and some fish. The dogs can be quite a handful. Julie from Gainesville Pet Sitter has done a marvelous job taking care of my critters on multiple occasions. The dogs and cats absolutely love her and are excited and happy to see her every time. On one occasion two of the dogs got sick while I was out of town. She went above and beyond the call of duty checking on them extra times, doing (unfortunately) extra clean up, bathing one of the dogs, etc. She texts at least once a day to let me know how things are going and called me several times over the weekend of the sick dog episode. I never had to call her - she was always ahead of the game and called me. I teach dog agility and have recommended her to several of my students who have had less than stellar experiences with other sitters. She also has done a great job watering plants and generally checking up on things around my house. I feel very fortunate to have her in this area and available on a regular basis and will most certainly continue to use her services.

Reasonably priced, soft spoken, and very professional, Julie provided quality service to us-- dog owners who want the best for their family member(s). First, she scheduled an introductory visit so that we all could meet, have a tour of our home and yard, and understand our dogs' schedule and temperaments. She then came by to spend some time with them and experience entering our home on her own (it went very well!).
Julie is caring and careful and totally reliable. Sending a text the day before the scheduled visit as a reminder and confirmation, she also sends a text with each home visit and sent a photo during her overnight stay that we found very comforting. Finding a written note with her observations about our dogs on the kitchen counter when we arrived home was a delightful bonus.
Without reservation, we recommend Julie as a dog sitter/walker/visitor. We have confidence in her judgment and are comfortable having her in our home during our absence. She is motivated, skilled, and committed to providing superior service. We learned about Julie from a dog trainer who described her as 'awesome'. We agree.
