I dropped the car off the night before. Told them I needed it by 11. Tony called around 10 saying it was done. Good experience overall.

These guys always bend over backwards to help you with 'odd' replacement part requests! I needed some parts not normally stocked in dealers and they had them waiting at the counter for me the very next day. Very well done!

I asked them to show me what had happened and how they went about fixing it, so they called me in to show me what had been happening. As a result, I am diligent about always keeping the car in the garage, and I purchased a car cover for when I am away from home.

Some of the things were a little pricey. They took care and did what they were supposed to do. They did the work within the reasonable amount of time. They were pretty responsive.

Unknown to me, Gainesville C/D/J follows Maintenance B schedule, located in the owners manual. In other words, I was notified by the dealer that the transfer case and both the front and real differentials needed to be drained and refilled with new fluids. This Jeep has 35K on the odometer and since it's never been off road and is driven very carefully by my wife, I declined their request. I've always followed the Maintenance A schedule in the owners manual. It was brought to my attention by the Service Manager, George, that FL can be very h****** vehicles. Since this Jeep's first 4 years was in MI, which has very harsh winters and crap for roads, FL would be a cake walk for this Jeep.
Anyone who buys a new vehicle should ALWAYS read the owners manual first and foremost!!!! When you take your vehicle to a factory dealership, whether it's still under factory warranty or not, ask them what maintenance schedule they follow, so you don't pay for something you really don't need. Len, the service write up person and George, the service mamager, were very helpful in explaining everything clearly. Of course it does help to know something about vehicles, which I do. I've been working on my toys and other peoples cars for over 50 years and I still love doing it.

The oil change went off without a hitch. When asked for a bolt and nut to hold the positive terminal on the battery was told that the whole terminal needed to be replaced at an additional cost including labor for $36.00. They said that they didn't have bolts that would fit it which I don't believe for a second. It is a dealership with nuts and bolts for cars lying around everywhere. They then said that just the terminal is $17.00. I called my father who has been in the car business for 40 years and said that it would take them a couple of minutes to find the right sized bolt.
