Much faster than expected. Exit Realty was extremely punctual in returning phone calls,answering questions, and showing the property. The application was processed and approved in less than two days. Thank you to Amy, Mary and Debra. Renting a decent duplex was much easier than anticipated!

We began our working relationship after attending a Meetup group hosted by Terry and Debra Martin-Back at Exit Realty Producers in January 2013. We were new to real estate investing and had some experience already with a few other realtors and
weren't impressed. The real estate brokers we had been working with didn't understand construction, nor renovation, nor code violations and we were contemplating hiring a general contractor to help us evaluate homes as we viewed them. Searching the internet, we found the Martin-Backs and were cautiously optimistic they could help. After meeting them, we were thrilled as they both confirmed and provided information we needed to make confident purchasing decisions.
We began attending their Thursday evening and Saturday workshops and shopping for homes. Debra helped us put bids on a dozen homes and showed us several dozen more. As we began processing all the information and narrowing down our strategy, Debra was right there riding our waves of change right along with us, always available, always responsive. Emails sent in the middle of a sleepless night were responded to by 6AM. Text messages were immediately returned. Phone calls were picked up live and not voice mail. All the while, Debra provided sound, level-headed advice and never tried to "sell" us on any property (although hindsight taught us that a few she shared with us we should have purchased, darn it!) and allowed us to make the decisions that we were comfortable with.
Meanwhile, Terry was right there inspecting homes and providing his general contractor feedback. Repairs that looked scary to us, were calmly met with Terry's sound advice and counsel on cost as well as possible sub contractors. Terry provided a general contractor cost list so that we could negotiate with confidence instead of simply get quotes. He showed us what to look for in a quality contractor and quality performance and fielded numerous phone calls when we got stuck, confused or just plain scared! Terry's knowledge was invaluable and we now have a group of contractors that we regularly work with based on the knowledge Terry gave us to hire the right pros.
Since 2013 we have not only purchased homes, but also sold a piece of vacant land that we thought would sit on the market for years. Within two months it was sold thanks to Debra's excellent contact database. It is our experience that Debra and Terry want their clients to succeed and understand the value of building a long-term relationship over a quick-term sale.
Whether in the market for a personal residence, a fixer upper or an investment property, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Debra and Terry as your real estate broker.

I came across a property listing on MLS that was attractive to me. The listing agent was Ms Oberlin at Exit Realty. She showed me the property. I was in need of a place to live and wanted a quick closing. She assured me she knew seller well and the title sale would go smoothly. I offered a bit under list price with some sweat equity to be done by the seller. The seller countered with an unconventional deal in which he got some money up front to do the work and the sales price was dropped. Ms Oberlin assured me I could trust the seller. Turns out the seller's title was clouded by family quarrels. I very stupidly fronted more money on promise that funds would be applied to the purchase. Four months later, after numerous promises that it would clear any day, the legal status of the property was unresolved. I eventually bought another property and backed out. Ms Oberlin agreed to help me collect funds already given to the seller, but has done nothing. I have subsequently learned that the seller has a police record and his neighbors consider him untrustworthy.

She's very knowledgeable, well-informed and she's better with other Realtors I've used in the past. She does training seminars to help investor to know more about the market. She actually does a monthly seminar.
