Don and his crew were outstanding from start to finish. First, the quote was very fair and competitive. Second, they showed up when they said they were coming, and completed the job in a timely manner. They secured permits, and made sure everything was signed off and utility company had restored power before they left. Don Cayce has and deserves an excellent reputation in Gainesville. Absolutely first class.

Researched the electrical shorts in the house, replaced the receptacles and made sure that the electrical circuits were all working properly.

We called Don Cayce Electric at the recommendation of our home inspector. Within a few days, Don was on-site giving us estimates for two rental properties that need a variety of electrical projects. The projects were simple in nature, yet numerous and Don answered all of our questions as well as gave us additional education and options to think about. We had our estimates in a couple of days and they were very flexible with the schedule since we were on a tight delivery with our first investment property.
The day the work was performed, we had a few changes to the project list and the electrician handled everything deftly and easily, modifying his schedule to accommodate ours.
In the end, we had two ceiling fans removed in favor of light fixtures, one ceiling fan replaced, GFCI outlets installed in the kitchen, a switch box for the garbage disposal installed and a front porch light replaced along a few other projects.
We were delighted to work with Don Cayce Electric and will work with them again on the next house project. Thanks guys!

They are reasonably priced and they do quality work in a good amount of time.

The work was not done by a licensed electrican. Actually, I don't know what his license or educatio was. But for fifty dollars an hour, I was expecting someone licensed. He was supposed to do installation of fixtures and appliances and the fixtures were actually damaged. The bottom line is the electrical design and all the outlets were on a work plan, the wiring and the hook ups were all done by the contractor and myself so there was no misunderstanding. The electrican did not follow the plan and just did his own thing. So, I have ended up with switches that don't work and fixtures that aren't there.

We have worked with Don Cayce and his company for many years. This company IS our most valued licensed electrical contractor. The only times we have ever used another company in the 25 years I've been here is if Don's company is too busy at the time. Don is professional, timely, cost efficient and a joy to work with. That goes for Don's administrative support, Mona, as well!

Don Cayce Electric has excellent electricians. they are polite, clean, on time, they did not miss an appointment, and they were knowledgeable. I would use them again in a second.
